I’ve been investigating this for years and never found any research published on this before because it was not of any conventional knwoledge and wanted to add it to my UNO Blog, Anthony.

Imagine pushing the limits of the Envelope to see what people don’t knwo?

UNO= God is One

In the bible there is written in Revelation thats describe the Great Deciever who will rise from the Dead to Rule the New World Order.

Every Religon is seeking the Apperance of thier Christ like God except Christians and this is News for them.

It’s so complicated trying to explain all this Crap, Anthony, I can’t type quick enough to get it all my thoughts published.

But I am collecting bits and pieces of this Mystery so as to have Documented a part of this for others in the Future to use as research. So maybe I can see if we are on the same wavelength.

Did you knwo that the Da Vinci Code and the Priory of Sion and the Europe Monarcies have been claiming a link the the blood of Jesus, too?

As long as people are advancing their Pureblood Philosophy we who are not must live as a Sub-Species.

There is not a single issue to try and explain but i bet it will touch some nerves who have been studying this to now see the many problems that will be created now that we have opened the Padora’s Box.

DNA that old would be seriously degraded and it would not be possible to clone anything from it. The Shroud of Turin is not 2,000 years old. It’s ludicrous on the face of it.

Yesterday the book Review on the Cult of the Alien God’s also play a part in this mystery because it traces the origins of our blood which has traces of DNA from a Reptile. This Blood Cult Religon has stirred up wars over Blood for thousands of years.

Today’s War on
Terror is all about my Blood is better than your’s.

Arab’s and Jews have been spilling blood for Rights to Rule the Holy land and now they get those who aren’t of there Bloodline to die for thier Blood war.

Will the King of the World bring about Peace between them and be respected more if he is a Pureblood not tainted with humanblood?

Snarkie,

Maybe the Legend of the Holy Grail in which the Chalice Cup was filled with Jesus’s Spilt Blood when the Spear of Longinous wounded him maybe inspired the Knights Templar to protect thier artifact has enough DNA to extract provided them with the Royal Seed?

Maybe in fact the Protocals of Zion were in fact written about the Agenda of the Priory of Sion and represent themselves as Zionists to decive the world and throw everyone off track to there NWO goals?

There is a passage in the bible thats states, “those that say they are Jews but are not”, that describes the ones who will decive the world.

Anthony and Snark,

Do you see what happens when people want to Rule the World?

I’ve heard Rumors that the Shroud was the cloth that covered Knight Templar Jacques de Molay after his execution and this is another Elabirate Knight Templar Hoax.

I enjoyed reading the book “Holy Blood Holy Grail” and look forward to seeing the movie “Da Vinci Code” which tries to document the history of THE MEROVINGIAN DYNASTY SATANIC BLOODLINE OF THE ANTICHRIST & FALSE PROPHET

I found exciting information in the Book series called “The Spear of Destiny” and “The Mark of the Beast” written by Trevor Ravenscroft that traces the Relics from Christs Execution to the Present and how they have played a role in those who want to rule the World and another Artifact that could contain Jesus’s DNA.

The Movie “Constantine” showed the Spear as a Major instrument for aquiring the Powers to Rule the World.

Permafrost-protected woolly mammoth (Mammuthus primigeniu) DNA has been found 13 775 ± 145 years after burial (Greenwood et al., 1999). So it depends what condition the DNA was it. However, in this context it’s a non-issue.

Tango,

Aushwitz (correct me if I mispelleditit) was conducting scientific Expierments to see what would happen to humans when exposed to I.G Farbin’s chemicals so it could sell it’s chemical products and plausably murder those who couldn’t survive.

I haven’t a way to explain the Wizardary of this without cut-n-pastin a bunch of capsules but Transhumanism is a topic that has me worried for us the human race and all of nature’s future.

There are still numerous naysayers, who assert that it is wrong to “play God”. Since this objection is seriously proposed by apperently intelligent people, it requires the formality of an explicit answer. At first, let us think primarily of improvement of future generations, although not excluding the question of remodelling living adults. The first and most obvious comment is that a hands-off policy does not avoid responsibility. Passivity is just one alternative among many, and it also has its consequences. To choose to do nothing is still a choice, with its advantages, disadvantages and probable sequelae. Unless these have actually been weighed, estimated and compared with alternatives, those who choose not to “play God” are choosing, instead, to play ostrich.”

Robert C.W. Ettinger in “Man into Superman” (1972)

Are we a Sub-Species yet?

I’ve heard Rumors that the Shroud was the cloth that covered Knight Templar Jacques de Molay after his execution and this is another Elabirate Knight Templar Hoax.

That is actually an interesting observation and comment. The first “historical” reference or written claim about the appearance of this cloth refers to a period sometime soon after the French disbanded the Templars, and as I recall claimed that it was “introduced” into the church by a person who it turns out was a relative of Molay. I am not sure if that written account was also contemporaneous or written sometime later (such as during Da Vinci’s time :), however there is nothing “miraculous” required for this explanation.

Did you knwo that the Da Vinci Code and the Priory of Sion and the Europe Monarchies have been claiming a link the the blood of Jesus, too?

The old aristocracy of Europe also liked to claim it was of the bloodline of Charlemagne. That was middle ages propaganda, used appropriately for the time, meaningless otherwise then and now. No conspiracy needed, just simple propaganda, nothing more. Of course documenting old propaganda may be of interest to historians or those wishing to understand the period better, so I do not consider it a pointless effort at all. Just lay off the caps as Anthony suggests, please :)

“jabbering dingus”

Dingus Day
The Monday after Easter.

Started in Poland as a way to provide merriment after the seriousness of Lent comes to an end. The tradition began when farm boys in Poland wanted to attract notice from the girls of their choice. It was custom to throw water and hit the girls on their legs with twigs or pussywillows.

Im a pussywillow type of dingus myself.

Chuck a bucket full of water at em and smackem with the pussywillow, just cant get enough of it.

For those who like solving a puzzle –

The Da Vinci Code movie website has had a makeover, with the addition of some fun anagram puzzles and a sudoku-like symbol logic game (as well as the ubiquitous information about the movie) – warning, Flash is required.

More intriguingly though, there are some hidden sections of the site which need to be unlocked, and once you do you are faced with even more mysterious puzzles. Not sure if it’s leading forward into some big competition, or it’s just some time-wasting trivia, but some good fun all the same.

It has beeen tested for authenticity containing blood stains.

Is it possible with that theory about Da Vinci image, would it be his own blood as well on the cloth?

And if so could it been, he plotted this future, symbolized and coded it in his work, when the Templars could then clone him?

Woahh people everyone calm down! drew hempel, M.A. to the rescue! haha

First of all 1) neverknwo will you just go read Lynn Picknett and Clive Prince and get it fucking over with already? (the same goes for everyone else in this thread)

Picknett and Prince’s work is the basis for the da Vinci Code but it’s non-fiction. Read “The Templar Revelation” and their book on the Shroud but their best book is the Stargate Conspiracy and their latest book “The Sion Revelation” sort of builds on the Stargate Conspiracy.

Secondly to Tango and Snark — I’m buddies with distinguished biology professor Phil Regal, member of the Cosmos Club, who was the first to warn the U.N. about the vast dangers of releasing G.M.O.s.

But in terms of bloodline obsession and “evolution” I need Snark to just respond with two terms:

Nanotechnology and Quantum Chaos.

atom by atom self-assembling molecules is vastly more radical than genetic engineering which is already falling prey to lateral gene tranfers and retroviruses, etc.

Any “specialist” in science needs to study those two topics, nanotechnology and quantum chaos, because they are the main focus of Sandia Labs and Los Alamos Labs — the two top military science labs in the U.S.

“vast dangers of releasing G.M.O.s.”

back that shit up, dude. Yeah, GM is a short-sighted technology designed to secure a monopoly for specific pesticide cropping systems. The danger there is economic.

“But what about the horizontal of transfer antibiotic resistance” you ask? well, the overuse of antibiotics in medicine, agriculture, and animal husbandry makes this highly unlikely event even less of an issue.
(Bennett et al., 2004).

“What about novel allergens” you ask? most of us eat GM every day, and no harm has befallen us. Plus, glyphosate and Bt crystals have been used in agriculture for decades, and have not posed a “vast danger.”

Conversly: alterations in microbial mediated biogeochemical processes in GM cropping systems- transient and insignificant (Dunfield and Germida, 2001).

What about the selection for resistant weeds? resistant bacteria? resistant insects? no research has ever proven this to occur. I’m not saying it can’t happen, I’m just saying it hasn’t.

Look, I’m not some crazy-ass pro-GM asshole. Nor am I some anti-GM avenger, relying on emotional rhetoric in absense of solid data. I think that modern agriculture is on a bad course, and that GM is just another event in a long line of short sighted buisness decisions.

So it doesn’t really matter who your “buddies” with if you can’t support your assertations. Many scientist have advocated the precautionary principal when dealing with GM, but guess what, it’s here, and now we have to figure out what to do from here. I like the idea of regulation and co-habitation with other agricultural systems (e.g. organic). I attended a conference on this back in November and left plesently surprised.

Nothing against you, personally, Drew. As ammusing as it is to see someone actually advertize having an MA, you ussualy have some interesing things to say on here.

You do realize that Anthony’s parents specialized in the hazards of corporate agri-business food? The below is from the Sierra Club of Canada (and rest assure that some Sierra Club employees do have Ph.D.s in science.

Professor Regal informed me that in 2000 Cargill and Monsanto literally took over the biology department at the U of Minnesota. But such is the corporate control of science — just read professor David F. Noble and professor Lawrence Soley. Also you should be glad that professor Regal prevented the release of a g.e. bacteria into the ocean that could have had devastating repercussions. There are plenty of “too late” horror stories in science unfortunately but hey “Atoms for Peace” sounded good at the time as well.

And yes I used to slice genetically engineered mice brains for cash.

drew hempel, M.A.

Risks of Genetic Engineering

Non-target insects, including ones that are beneficial to farmers are harmed by genetically engineered crops. [1]
Genetically engineered organisms have harmed soil microorganisms, leading to stunted or killed crops. [2]
Plants engineered to be insect- or herbicide-resistant can lead to resistance in weeds and insect pests. This means more chemicals or new genetic engineering. [3,4]
New allergens and toxins are the potential result of genetically engineering food. Some are detected before market approval [5] while others are not. [6]
Pollen from genetically engineered crops can drift into wild environments and breed with wild relatives of crop plants. [7]
The effects of this genetic pollution cannot be predicted. Once genetically engineered organisms are released into the environment they cannot be con-trolled and they cannot be recalled. Genetic pollution is irreversible.

Aren’t GE products tested and regulated?

All data that is reviewed by Health Canada and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency is developed and submitted by the product manufacturers. This data is the private property of those corporations. The Canadian government does none of its own testing. Many scientists question whether sufficient means of testing these products is even possible. [8]

Recommended reads for Tango: “The Religion of Technology” (1996) by professor David F. Noble (formerly at M.I.T. and the Smithsonian but sent to Canada as a political exile).

Noble proves that science is controlled by Freemasonry and Noble organized a professors’ strike a few years ago. Don’t see that too often!!

I’m sorrry to bother you then with this dilema and my question went over your head. You don’t have a clue on what I’m thinking.

NASA claims the Earth does a polar reversal every 5 thousand years, and this is what I suspect to be what triggered
a major catastophy and a Global Warming Period Flooding the Globe during the Moses saga and preserved those species we have today.

Adolf Hitler wanted to be the leader for Eugentics and the Advancement of an Ayran Race.

I’m just asking if humans will still serve a purpose and still be concidered a superior species after the coming Cosmic Evolution(apocolypse) of the species when those genetically engineered freaks will seed other civilizations?

The TV show Superman, Alien Planet, X-Men, terminators, etc….... made it perfectly clear how we must accept our destiny.

Lets speculate that the worlds setiment towards the evolution of Adam brought about the Jewish race in which the world at the time didn’t tolerate a new race emerging and why they were considered hated becuase of thier other prior root race’s envy. Lets also compare Jesus to Adam as the first seed
symbolized as the Avatar. Then the desendents of Adam began to multiple and fill the void.

And they evolved afte the extermination of all life from a great flood in which they survived because they were considered choosen.

What if we started filling the world with a cloned Jesus, would they be considered the choosen ones?

In the movie the Terminator, Arnold plays the Avatar role of the emerging Cyborg Race who then mulitiply only exterminating thier sub-race creators.

Cosmic evolution is symbolized in sacred geometery and that the hexagram represents the 6th root race.

The pentagram is the symbol of the 5th root race prior to adam as well does the other geometric symbols represents the other Root races as examples on here.

If I could make a chart to articulate this concept of the biblical Code to make easy for the those who need pictures you could do the math and add it all up.

One day is like a thousand years and a thousand years is as one day?

Jesus made a promised he would return on the third day?

Adam arrived on dateline zero…........approx. 6 thousand years ago (6 days).

Alpha 1=Monday_____(Adam)_____1000
2=Tuesday_______________ 2000
3=Wed. (great flood)_______ 3000
4=Thurs._________________4000
5= Good Fri. (1st day)_______5000 0 AD
6=Sat._____(2 day)________ 6000 1000 AD
Omega7=Promise Day Sun (3rd day))_7000 2000 AD

2006AD speculation and 30 year or so time period margin of error

The Messianic Legacy will contiue.

This brings to mind a Movie I once saw and thought verydesturbing THE BOYS FROM BRAZIL opens in scenic and remote Paraguay where Barry Kohler (a young Steve Guttenburg) is on the trail of a mysterious gathering of former Third Reich heavy hitters, including Eduard Seibert (James Mason), now in exile. As his information becomes more detailed, he contacts Ezra Lieberman (Laurence Olivier), a renowned Nazi hunter. In the meantime Dr. Josef Mengele (Gregory Peck) makes the scene and after Kohler’s bugging of a secret meeting goes wrong, Lieberman is left with only a thread of a much deeper story, which he sets about to unravel…

orld War II may be over and the Nazis may be in the global backwaters of South America, but some of those Putsch-happy senior citizens of the Third Reich are not quite resigned to the idea of retirement. But, in the overall siesta-like quiescence of the Fatherland’s(Homeland?) dispossessed, no one really notices. Except one man, a young Jewish man, who has been secretly monitoring the activities of these energetic, expatriate fascists.

He is inspired by the work of Ezra Lieberman, a venerable, Jewish Nazi-hunter. But Lieberman, like most of the Nazis he’s hunted, has grown old and soft, and knows the modern age is more concerned with contemporary, fashionable evil than that of three decades ago. When the young Jewish crusader tries to alert Lieberman that something truly nefarious is afoot, Lieberman dismisses it out of hand. “You called me to tell me Josef Mengele is in Paraguay? You know this. I know this. My sister’s tailor knows this…”

When Lieberman loses contact with the crusader, he suspects foul play. With a paltry array of seemingly irrelevant clues, Lieberman slowly learns that in his post-war years Mengele has done a lot more than learn how to pronounce “lederhosen” in Spanish. In fact, the sadist-scientist, infamous for his biological experiments on Auschwitz prisoners, has been busy with a hideous new enterprise. And upon the outcome of this bizarre experiment, the fate of the free world may hang…

The seeds of evil can grow in all of us

In fact, almost everything about the film is low-key, and the film is better for it: Gregory Peck (Mengele) and Laurence Olivier (Lieberman) articulate good, understated performances. The plot encompasses the arch-nemesis dynamic of the rivals, but, smartly, is not defined by it. The climax sees two old men scratching, pulling, and biting one another—knuckle-shattering punches thankfully absent. All of this normalcy makes the fantastic scientific premise of Mengele’s experiment a bit easier to consider.

Because the premise of the film hinges upon the credibility of its science, flaws develop whenever specificity is chosen over generality. To see the hapless South American natives of Mengele’s jungle-based torture lab is chilling, because history knows the truth of Auschwitz. But to see a close-up of any of them with icy-blue Nordic eyes is a bit silly.

But mostly Schaffner’s touch is deft, and the best thing that the film does is subtly suggest that evil can be grown from seeds in all of us. The Nazis weren’t bogeymen, they were just men. And women. Because humanity as a whole has an equal capacity for cruelty as well as beneficence, their work continues.

The film is full of nice, well thought out touches, like the opening sequences where strains of German oom-pah-pah music mix with the lazy atmosphere of a Hispanic marketplace in a way that is almost comic.

Peck takes and clones from the seeds of the pureblooded ayran. Mengele’s breeds a litter of Manchurain Canidates that will be groomed and disiplined in an elaborite scheme to place his cloned Omen like childern in the oval office.

If this story was any bit true which seems plausible today
the childern from Mengele’s Expierments would make them the same age as our most popular facist Shrub.

Science no threat to faith, Pope says

By Philip Pullella

VATICAN CITY (Reuters) – Science made such rapid progress in the 20th century that people may sometimes be confused about how the Christian faith can still be compatible with it, Pope Benedict said on Friday.

But science and religion are not opposed to each other and Christians should not be afraid to try to understand how they compliment each other in explaining the mystery of life on Earth, he told the Vatican’s doctrinal department.

Scientific discoveries sometimes came so rapidly “that it becomes very complicated to recognize how they are compatible with the truth revealed by God about man and the world,” said the German-born Pontiff, 78.

The Church, however, should not fear the challenge of reconciling faith and reason because God was “in fact, the Lord of all creation and all history.”

The intelligent design debate in the United States has pitted scientists — who are sometimes also agnostics — against believers who claim that science can prove some life forms are so complex that they must have had a supernatural “designer.”

ID supporters have been trying to get it taught as science in biology classes alongside Darwin’s theory of evolution, which some Christian conservatives oppose. Its opponents rejected this as having no scientific basis at all.

Lincoln Cathedral, England – Sirius connexion

As revealed last year with the discovery of a code within the Gothic Cathedral of Lincoln England

whereupon a dog was discovered upon Christ’s plate at the scene of The Last Supper at the Great East Window

further clues within the Cathedral revealed a ‘Star Clock’ reflected and contained by Masons in the stone architecture at the famous Rose Window there

- if the window of the beautifully stain glass decorated Rose Window be removed,
and if one were to stand in a certain position within the Cathedral at night, one would clearly see in all its beauty, the constellations of the Northern Star Clock revolving thru the stone circles,*

highlighting the dog star Sirius.

In Dogon mythology, as announced in the best selling Robert Temple’s ‘The Sirius Mystery’ human were created by beings from Sirius who genetically engineered our DNA.

The dog, as found numerous times in the Lincoln Cathedral Da Vinci Code, is a significant figure in the Dogon religion representing the Jackal and the evil in the religion. He was identified with the first failed experiment and humanity’s seperation from the Creator.

The Sirius star system was identified with the first failed experiment.

The main star Sirius was identified with the ‘Nummo’, the white dwarf star Sirius B was identified with the Jackal and red star Sirius C identified with the androgynous sister born at the same time as the Jackal and considered pure and immortal like the Nummo. I

In late history these figures became identified with the red and white roses of the Magdalene , now suspected to be hidden in the precincts of Lincoln Cathedral.

Dragons came down to Earth from Sirius to share their wisdom with humans, myths say

Among a great number of fairytale creatures dragons stand out as a particular category. In the memory of many nations they are still wise, amiable, open-hearted and at the same time strange-looking creatures.

West-European medieval ballads describe dragons as winged snatchers of young girls, insatiable and severe treasure keepers who one day still died of swords of knights.

A Swiss religion researcher studied myths, legends and fairytales of people inhabiting Europe, Asia, Africa and America. He thinks that our ancestors actually met and communicated with dragons. This is astonishing that pictures of dragons, descriptions of their looks and conduct left by different nations coincide. Another amazing fact is that first pictures of dragons and legends telling about them appeared within 2,500-4,000 B.C. Often, they appeared as messengers of the skies.

Contemporary ufologist Vadim Arskiy tells about people encountering dragons. Researchers want to closely study the tribe of dogons living in Africa. Thousands-year old myths about dogons mention ‘humans’ who came to Earth from Sirius. It is said that Nommo whose sacred image dogons worship was the one who brought the aliens to Earth. Nommo is described as a combination of a human and a snake with three couples of flexible extremities and a split tongue. It has a smooth shining body covered with green skin. Legends say that Nommo (meaning “the monitors”) as well as other aliens were living side by side with dogons for a long period of time, shared their knowledge and experience with them and then left for their home star.

Dogons keep an image of Nommo’s remains that look like a log of about four meters long decorated with intricate ornamentation. This may sound incredible but images of dragons known in America, China and other parts of the world are of approximately the same size and appearance that the image kept by dogons.

Catholic group Opus Dei wants ‘references that hurt Catholics’ to be removed from the film version of Dan Brown’s hit novel The Da Vinci Code.

The Da Vinci Code offers a deformed image of the Catholic Church, Opus Dei said in a statement released in Rome.

But the group added it would not call for a boycott of the highly anticipated film, due out in May.

The book portrays Opus Dei as a power-hungry movement bent on covering up the truth about Christ’s bloodline.

The group did not say in its statement which references it wanted removed, but studio Sony insisted the movie was a work of fiction.

The film was “not a religious tract, and it is certainly not meant to criticise any group, religious or otherwise,” said Jim Kennedy of Sony Pictures Entertainment.

Opus Dei said changes to the film would be appreciated by Catholics “particularly in these days in which everyone has noted the painful consequences of intolerance“ – a reference to the violent protests sparked by the publication of cartoons satirising the Prophet Muhammad.

However, it said it would not urge boycotts, and would follow a “more constructive” path.

The novel, full of conspiracy theories in a thriller style, is about two code-breakers who try to track down the truth behind the Holy Grail. It has caught the imaginations of millions.

Chickens Can Grow Teeth

Chicken will grow teeth when pigs can fly.

Well, better start searching the skies for flying pork—scientists have discovered a mutant chicken with a full set of crocodile-like chompers.

Download and hear the SUPER CHICKEN

The mutant chick, called Talpid, also had severe limb defects and died before hatching. It was discovered 50 years ago, but no one had ever examined its mouth until now.

The researchers recently created more Talpids by tweaking the genes of normal chickens to grow teeth.

“What we discovered were teeth similar to those of crocodiles—not surprising as birds are the closest living relatives of the reptile,” said Mark Ferguson of the University of Manchester.

What happened

Around 300 million years ago, the ancestor of all modern vertebrates gave rise to two lineages, the mammals and the reptiles/birds. The oldest reptiles, such as crocodiles and alligators, had cone-shaped teeth. So did the earliest birds, called archosaurs.

Then, around 80 million years ago, modern birds emerged without teeth.

“So what would you expect bird teeth to look like? You would expect them to have teeth like their ancestors and their most closely related living relative,” study co-author John Fallon of the University of Wisconsin told LiveScience.

Indeed, Talpid’s teeth are conical, much like an archosaur’s and closely resembling the teeth of a baby alligator or crocodile, Fallon said. If the chick survived, the teeth would most likely reabsorb into the mouth.

The archosaurs had mouths similar in shape to a reptile’s. It turns out that developing a beak caused birds to lose their teeth.

“The reason that birds lost their teeth is that in forming a beak, the two tissues that ‘talk’ to each other to make a tooth become separated,” Fallon said. “They can’t have the conversation to make a tooth. In the mutant, these tissues are brought back together.”

Make more mutants

The finding made scientists curious whether healthy chickens still possessed the 80-million-year-old genetic pathway for producing teeth.

By making a few changes to the expression of certain molecules in the pathway, the researchers were able to induce tooth growth in normal developing chickens. These teeth also looked like reptilian teeth and shared many of the same genetic traits, supporting the scientists’ hypothesis. None of these chickens were allowed to hatch.

This is all good news for hockey players. A direct application of this research, Ferguson said, could be re-growing teeth in people who have lost them through accident or disease.

The research is detailed this week in the journal Current Biology

Yeah, I saw the chicken story at Scientific American. Pretty cool, but please don’t go all ape-shit about us having reptilian DNA again.

Of course we have elements of our DNA that are homologous with reptiles, as do birds. DNA is highly conserved during evolution, and much of our introns, or “junk” DNA is non-coding regions that have been latent since we no longer express them.

Hence or gills and tail during embryonic development. If, during development, a mutation causes expression of such regions of DNA, you end up with interesting, but deleterious effects such as with those chicken embryos.

Allthough the transient expression of latent DNA could have interesting applications, the suggestion above that this would be applied to humans, and in such a trival way as allowing ice hockey players to regenerate teeth, is lazy guess work at best.

Leonardo da Vinci put Nostradamus to shame with his scientific prophecies

One of the most mysterious geniuses of the civilization, Leonardo da Vinci was born in a small town of Vinci in the mountains of Toscana April 15, 1452 . Mankind still admires the great variety of artistic forms, scientific researches and inventions that Leonardo did in different spheres of art and science. The Florentine artist exerted great influence not only upon the Italian quattrocento but also upon development of the entire civilization. Indeed, there are just few people in the world culture who were as talented as Leonardo. People of the next generations called Leonardo the Italian Faust because of his unique talent.

The Florentine Master proved himself a real genius in various spheres. Leonardo was a wonderful artist and sculptor, military engineer and designer, a mechanical engineer, biologist, botanist, geologist and chemist, mathematician, astronomer, cartographer, physiologist and anatomist, optician, musician and singer. He created textile machines and looms, designed systems of bog reclamation, dyke locks and irrigation systems; he designed new weapons, created the prototypes of an aqualung and parachute, tank and battleship; he also worked on a submarine, helicopter and glider.

Cyborg Superman, Transhumanism and the Nephilim

Is there a connection between project Superman and the “new man” of the technotronic era? Is it really possible to “create” new personalities (different individuals) with the help of trauma based mind control? Can one with help of occult rituals, incantations or the very same trauma based mind control have spirits incarnate into the body of a person? Can one really become possessed? How does this all connect with cyborgs?

There are a number of interesting topics that seems to come together in one single encompassing concept – and it’s all about creating a “New Man”, a new soldier! The interesting question is: who is it that needs these soldiers?

As many others before me have pointed out, there seems to be a few that almost in madness are racing towards certain technological advancements without stopping. Millions and billions are being spent on research and “stuff” that perhaps to the everyday Joe seem cool… but it is a bit strange when one considers that millions of people are starving on our planet. Why? Why are these people spending their precious dollars, euros and yuan’s on creating robots, cyborgs, cloning and mapping the human genome? What is the reason for this? And why the rush?

There seems to be an attack on all fronts right now and we indeed seem to come closer and closer to a “singularity”. It could either be a biogenetic related thing or a AI technological issue.

Even our food is being genetically modified. The question again is why? What’s wrong with it? Have not our food on this planet been sufficient for us so far? Why does it need to be changed, and who is changing it? Can modified food modify us? The food can work as an agent to get inside our body and then be designed to change the DNA of those who consume it. In an article from 2002 entitled “Can GM food make your body immune to Antibiotics?” it says that “eating GM food can change the genetic make-up of your digestive system”. Can it change other parts of us also?

There are other ways to get nanosized particulates, or even nanobots, into your body. All you need to do is breath. There is something called “smart dust” that can be dropped from any altitude over any location, a city etc. that then finds its way to you and into your body without you even knowing about it. This makes food as an agent seem a bit “clumsy”. But as I said, there seem to be a onslaught on every front on the “research battlefield”.

This reminds me of a discussion that Whitley Strieber and William Henry had on the internet radio show Dreamland a while back, that was about the “MIThril project”. A next-generation of wearable computers, a combination between nanotechnology and cloaking technology that connects to the concept of the creation of a “cyborg superhuman” or a “super soldier” (“Mighty Man” or M-I-T man). I have a short audio excerpt from this interview and a more in depth article about it here.

DNA and the I Ching
Just like Quetzalcoatl of the Aztecs, Nü-Kua was a dragon that taught her people about art, irrigation and agriculture. She had a male partner, another half-dragon named Fu Xi, and he taught humans how to hunt, fish and create music. He also had a role in creating the eight trigrams which were the foundation of the I’Ching. [17]

Fu Xi became the first Emperor of China, circa 2800 BC. One day he spotted a dragon-horse rising out of the Yellow River. On its side were some markings which Fu Xi recorded. He called them the Ho Tu, from which he derived eight trigrams which represented the four cardinal directions and the diagonals between.

Figure 1: Ancient and modern forms of the Ho Tu

Figure 2: The trigrams of Fu Xi

These eight trigrams are the basis of the I-Ching, the oldest scripture in Chinese culture. In 1122 BC, the official records of the Zhou dynasty stated that three different versions of the I’Ching existed, (although only the one that we use today has survived).

Several modern books like the Tao of Chaos have demonstrated extraordinary similarities that link the I’Ching to modern knowledge of DNA structures. [18] Basically, DNA comprises of four code letters, A, T, C and G. These are combined into sets of three, known as codons. This means that there are 4 × 4 × 4 = 64 combinations available, and the I Ching also has 64 combinations.

An 8×8 magic square can be constructed by placing the numbers 1…64 in sequence, and then reversing the order of the green positions. The total of any line gives us 260, the number of days in the Tzolkin, the Mayan sacred calendar. Is it just a coincidence that the next Year of the Dragon is 2012?

DNA is of course directly related to mutations, which we shall look into in a later chapter. Also, links have been made to the description of the 22-letter Hebrew language (as described in the Hebrew book of creation Sefer Yetzirah), and the 22 major arcane Tarot cards – each corresponding to the 22 amino acid and punctuation groups of DNA.

Figure 3: DNA meets the I Ching, according to Katya Walter

DNA symbols
There are two serpentine symbols associated with medicine today, the staff of Aesculapius and the Cadeuceus, although the staff of Aesculapius has the strongest mythological association to healing. Aesculapius was a Roman physician who was such a skilled healer that he became a god, and temples were dedicated to him. The symbol of his wooden staff with only one snake coiled around it was adopted by the American Medical Association early last century.

The Cadeuceus has a slightly [*] more ancient background and, more importantly, it reinforces our links between floods, DNA and serpents/dragons.

The Cadeuceus is a figure that consists of two entwined serpents encircling a wand or rod. It was carried by Hermes in Greek myths and Mercury in Roman mythology as the messenger of the gods. It was a symbol of authority and protected the herald who carried it.

The similarity of this symbol to the double helix of DNA strands is a common observation. By looking at Greek myths we can find links to cataclysms and re-creation…

Hermes was the grandson of Atlas;

Atlas kept the world steady on his shoulders (in a non-poleshift state). He was the father of Maia
Maia / Maya, was the Greek goddess of spring and rebirth. The month of May is named after her, and Maia means “the maker”
Zeus made Maia his wife and she settled in a cave 1700 metres up the slopes of Mount Cyllene. It was in this cave that their son Hermes was born.
The Ancient Greeks attribute many innovations to Hermes. He discovered the flame, constructed the first lyre and flute, and introduced words and numbers. He invented medicine, astrology, weights, measures and commerce. And he carried the Cadeuceus.
So, the protector from poleshifts, had a daughter in charge of the rebirth of Earth, who is was the mother of Hermes who carried the Cadeuceus.

Hermes appears to be the same character as Quetzalcoatl/Kulkulcan/Nahuatl of Mesoamerica. The both had serpent imagery (Quetzalcoatl was a feathered serpent, Hermes wore a winged hat and sandals and carried the Cadeuceus) and each provided similar services to their people (Quetzalcoatl cured ailments, introduced corn, science, calendars, created fire and gave instruction of music and dance). Another mythical cousin to these two is Buddha. Also a great teacher, he had a virgin mother named Maya.

Although this symbol is most famous for being carried by Hermes, we can trace it back to a much earlier civilisation.

The earliest depiction of the Cadeuceus, flanked by a pair of dragons, circa 4000BC

On exhibit in the Louvre is a green libation vase, which was excavated from the ancient Mesopotamian city of Lagash. The inscription on it, from King Gudea of Lagash circa 2025 BC, is a dedication to Ningizzida. Also on the vase is an image of two entwined snakes on a rod. Some have dated the vase as far back as 4000 B.C. The rod is most likely to be Axis Mundi, the world tree, Yggdrasil, the tree of life. Ningizzida, a fertility god, was also known as ‘Lord of the Tree of Life’. He was often depicted as a serpent with a human head, and later became a god of healing and magic. His companion was Tammuz/Dumuzi, who personified the creative powers of spring [19] (like the Greek Maia).

And Ningizzida was the son of Ninazu (a.k.a Anzu or Zu) – a divine storm-bird and the personification of the southern wind and the thunderclouds. [20]

In the same era the cadeuceus was being used by the people of India to represent Kundalini – but that’s another story…

Could ancient scriptures and symbols, ostensively brilliantly simple descriptions of DNA, have come from a dragon? Or were they just credited to a dragon in a myth, because dragons represent order from chaos, and symbolise terrible all-changing catastrophes?

The fifth Aztec age was initiated by the dragon Quetzalcoatl in 3,113 B.C. and is due to complete its cycle on Dec. 21, 2012. Is it just a coincidence that this happens to be the next Chinese year of the Dragon? Is this the date of the next pole shift?

A Theory
Here is a theory that combines all myths about dragons:

Between 5,000 and 12,000 years ago, an extraterrestrial force, with accompanying cosmic radiation, caused the Earth’s poles to shift.

The Norse, Greek, Aztec, Chippewa & Chinese all have flood legends which have dragons in an integral role
The Fon and Norse legends involve the world tipping over, because of dragons
The Norse and Babylonian flood legends involve the shifting of the stars – something that would appear to happen in a pole shift
This in turn caused a global cataclysm of floods, earthquakes, mud and volcanoes. All living things had their numbers drastically reduced. Life arose from mud. Those that survived had mutated DNA from cosmic radiation – (even today cosmic rays are the main cause of random DNA mutations). Many new species came about.

The Fon, Norse, Babylonian, Aztec & Chinese all have creation legends involving dragons
The Norse, Babylonian, Greek, Aztec & Chinese all have mutations appearing in their legends
Some, including dragons and unicorns, had genetic Achilles heels, which prevented them from surviving through until the modern era.

Dragons were the most monstrous of all the new species, and became the symbol of the cataclysm and the resulting mutations. After a few generations, two species of humans remained, the Neanderthals (giants) and the Nephilim (angels/gods). The Nephilim were the most changed, and they became associated with dragon symbolism. They had changed for the better, and they retained information from before the cataclysm. But they were few, and they were weak. The only way to survive was to mate with the Neanderthal giants. And to teach their offspring all they knew.

Cecrops and Athena (Greece), Quetzalcoatl (Aztec) & Nü-Kua (China) were all dragons that introduced knowledge to their respective cultures
The ancient myths that relate to the cataclysm feature dragons and mutations, as a simplistic way of explaining what had happened. It is to their the credit of the inventors of these myths, that the underlying message has somehow managed to survive for millennia.

David Booth has detailed in his seminal work, Hitler Lives/ The Indigo Children Of The New Master Race, the combination of the Inter Dimensional transfer of the German Nazi Elite, along with those selected by the United States Naval Intelligence Organization, with human genetic modifications achieved through the vaccination of children, is about to unleash upon the World a New Master Race combining the attributes of both present human inhabitants of our ‘reality’ with those of our Inter Dimensional ancestors, and historically known as ‘Demons’.

Even today there are Internet Websites devoted to this coming Demon Master Race of Indigo Children, and as we can see evidenced by one such site named The Indigo Children, and which says:

“As a summary, here are the ten attributes that best describe this new kind of child, the Indigo Child (named by those who predicted it).

*They come into the world with a feeling of royalty *(and often act like it)

They have a feeling of “deserving to be here,” and are surprised when others don’t share that.

Self-worth is not a big issue. They often tell the parents “who they are.”

They have difficulty with absolute authority (authority without explanation or choice).

They simply will not do certain things; for example, waiting in line is difficult for them.

They get frustrated with systems that are ritually oriented and don’t require creative thought.

They often see better ways of doing things, both at home and in school, which makes them seem like “system busters“ (nonconforming to any system).

They seem antisocial unless they are with their own kind. If there are no others of like consciousness around them, they often turn inward, feeling like no other human understands them. School is often extremely difficult for them socially.

They will not respond to “guilt” discipline (“Wait till your father gets home and finds out what you did”).

They are not shy in letting you know what they need.”

To the full and catastrophic horrors about to be unleashed upon all human kind there remains only truthful knowledge, and a kind of truthful knowledge brought forth by very few of our kind over the many centuries we as a species have inhabited our World free from those Inter Dimensional Demons poised to make yet another of their catastrophic returns to our ‘reality’.

To the truth of these words we write this day there resides within you the cooperation of knowledge our species have passed down to these times, and which even now resounds within you. From these seeds of words can grow our last defense of our race, and as we have done many times before.

The Lebensborn

Picture found on a german soldier: the kidnapping of a Polish (?) child

Lebensborn means “spring of life”. The “Lebensbornproject was one of most secret and terrifying Nazi projects. Heinrich Himmler created TheLebensbornon December 12th, 1935. The goal of this society (“Registered Society Lebensborn – Lebensborn Eingetragener Verein”) was to offer to young girlsracially purethe possibility to give birth to a child in secret. The child was then given to the SS organization which took in charge his “education” and adoption.

In the beginning, the “Lebensborn” were SS nurseries. But in order to create asuper-race“, the SS transformed these nurseries in “meeting places“ for “racially pure” German women who wanted to meet and make children with SS officers. The children born in the Lebensborn were taken in charge by the SS and it is important to know that most of them were also victims of this race policy. Without any contact with their mothers, without any parental love, most of them became autistic.

From 1939, one of the most horrible side of the Lebensborn policy was the kidnapping of children “racially goods” in the eastern occupied countries. These kidnappings were organized by the SS in order to take by force children who matched the Nazi’s racial criteria (blond hair, blue eyes, etc….). Thousands of children were transferred to the “Lebensborn” centers in order to be “Germanized”. In these centers, everything was done to force the children to reject and forget their birth parents. As an example, the SS nurses tried to persuade the children that they were deliberately abandoned by their parents. The children who refused the Nazi education were often beaten. Most of them were finally transferred to concentration camps (most of the time Kalish in Poland) and exterminated. The others were adopted by SS families.

In 1942, in reprisals of the assassination of the SS governor Heydrich in Prague, a SS unit exterminated the entire male population of a small village called Lidice. During this “operation”, some SS made a selection of the children. 91 of them were considered as good enough to be “Germanized” and sent to Germany. The others were sent to special children camps (i.e. Dzierzazna & Litzmannstadti) and later to the extermination canters.

It is nearly impossible to know how much children were kidnapped in the eastern occupied countries. In 1946, it was estimated that more than 250,000 were kidnapped and sent by force to Germany. Only 25,000 were retrieved after the war and sent back to their family. It is known that several German families refused to give back the children they had received from the Lebensborn centers. In some cases, the children themselves refused to come back in their original family: they were victims of the Nazi propaganda and believed that they were pure Germans. It is also known that thousand of children not “good enough” to be Germanized were simply exterminated.

The Secrets of The Poussin Code

When men on the chessboard
Get up and tell you where to go
[and was it not The Knight’s problem on the chessboard that led us to the clue: Poussin and Teniers hold the key ?]
And you’ve just had some kind of mushroom
And your mind is moving low
Go ask Alice
I think she’ll know

When logic and proportion
Have fallen sloppy dead
And the White Knight is talking backwards
And the Red Queen’s “off with her head!”
Remember what the dormouse said:
“Feed your head, Feed your head, Feed your head”

Hi all.

Over the last couple of months I have alluded to a secret discovery I have made in the paintings of Poussin and The Allegory of The Coronation of Celestine V and it is the reason for this website to divulge or explain what I have found. The fact that I have found the significance of some hidden geometry is but one layer of a multi-level problem and it will be up to others such as Gary Osborn, Steve Nixon or Morph to delve into the more esoteric and hermetic meanings that it may involve. I have come to my conclusions but there is still much to be found as the consciousness of the world awakens a little more each day. I am going to post representative images and then explain how I got to each stage. Where I have saved the flash program that gave me the image I will post that so that one can see graphically how it was obtained as an overlay. I sincerely hope you enjoy my presentation.

Believers turn attention to `indigo’ children of the New Age

BY ERIC ADLER

Knight Ridder Newspapers

KANSAS CITY, Mo.

- Autumn Sage Hands is a soulful second-grader.
The evidence covers one wall of her home: A large painting, full of blasts of color and crosses, displays a forlorn woman standing naked and alone, one tear rolling down her cheek.

In a small voice the brown-haired 8-year-old explains her painting: “I let it just be what it was.”
And evidence is in the musings she has written since age 5.

“Many peepl yel for the love of ther life,” she once wrote. “Do many people cry for the lost of ther life.”
When she was 3, Autumn stared into a campfire and told her mother, Heather Hands, “Our dreams are alive in our hearts.” Her mother will never forget it.
To Hands, holistic living and metaphysical thinking offer sense and solace. So the explanation for Autumn’s behavior is as clear as a crystalline aura: Her daughter is an “Indigo child.”

Some call them “the children of the new earth” and describe them as an enlightened cadre of children, most younger than 20, who are especially spiritually attuned. They purportedly radiate indigo auras to those who are able to see auras, and their role is to help advance human consciousness toward peace and understanding.
Others call it New Age bunk.

“I hear about them every day,” James “The Amazing” Randi said from the James Randi Educational Foundation in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Randi, a MacArthur Fellow and former magician, has spent decades debunking mystical claims of the supernatural and paranormal.
Randi said the Indigo children – a burgeoning phenomenon encompassing Web sites, seminars, books on raising the Indigo child and features on “Oprah,” “Good Morning America” and in the New York Times – is nothing more than a mystical rip-off. It plays well to gullible parents bent on seeing their children as extraordinary.

“They don’t know the difference between fantasy and reality,” Randi said of the parents. “This is woo woo stuff. People just love it.”

Indeed, on Jan 27 and 28 more than 200 movie screens nationwide, primarily at churches and yoga centers – including one at Unity Village in Lee’s Summit and at Maya Yoga in Kansas City – premiered “Indigo Evolution,” a documentary produced by the Spiritual Cinema Network on Indigo children.

A 2003 feature, “Indigo,” is based on the book “The Indigo Children” (Hay House), which, since 1999, has sold 250,000 copies and is credited with sparking Indigo interest. Since then numerous other books have hit the market, including “How to Raise an Indigo Child,” published by the School of Metaphysics in Windyville, Mo., south of the Lake of the Ozarks.

“These kids are leaders,” said Amy Jin Schmelzer, 27, a lecturer from Dubuque, Iowa, who has spoken on Indigo children. “They show us our potential in human form.”
In “The Indigo Children,” married authors Lee Carroll and Jan Tober explain how Indigo children were first described by Nancy Ann Tappe, a San Diego parapsychologist. Tappe supposedly could see auras and, by the color of that aura, determine a person’s mission in life.

In the late 1970s Tappe noticed that a new color attached to a growing body of children, indigo, had “entered the Earth plane.” She equated the color with greater enlightenment. In Indigo Children, Carroll and Tober offer a checklist of attributes that Indigos share. Among them:

They feel like royalty and they deserve to be here.

They are full of self-worth.

They have difficulty with absolute authority.

They will not respond to “guilt” discipline.

They find ritualized systems frustrating and uncreative.

Absent the company of like-minded people, they turn inward and can seem anti-social.

They often have a stubborn sense of mission.

They often are smart, intuitive, restless, creative and rebellious.

Some Indigo children have been said to see spirits or auras and possess psychic abilities.

The belief in Indigo children has created more than philosophic collisions.

Some proponents claim that countless children medicated because of attention deficit disorder or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder are really misidentified Indigo children.

Indigo children and children with ADD or ADHD are said to share some similar traits.

“It’s all a bunch of hand-waving,” said critic and Dallas physician Timothy Gorski of the National Council Against Health Fraud. Not only can the list of Indigo “traits” fit virtually every child on the planet, he said, but believing the hype could keep children with ADD or ADHD from getting needed help.

But none of that dissuades those who believe that nature and nurture are not the only guiding influences in life.

“An Indigo child is a child who just comes into the world `knowing.’ They are here to guide the world in a different direction,” said Tiki Denham, 35, of Lee’s Summit, Mo.

She’s convinced that her 8-year-old son, Colby – who thinks about being a television weatherman – entered the world with a preternatural sense of spirituality, sensitivity and an ability to see auras.

In second grade he’s beginning his own drama club.
“That’s just the kind of things Indigos do,” Denham said. “They take control, often do it without even telling the parents, who are the last to know.”

Denham, who works at Unity Village and was married by a metaphysical minister, said that most people believe Indigo children are wise advanced souls revisiting Earth in turbulent times.

Dory Wheatley, 29, who teaches at the Metaphysical School in Kansas City, said her two children, Iris, 9, and Ella, 3, are both Indigos, especially Iris.
When asked what she would want if she could ask for anything in the world, Iris answered, “For there to be no more evil.”
Who cares if scientists protest, said Hands and other parents. Belief is belief.
“A long time ago,” Hands said, “the Earth was also flat, according to a lot of people.”

BELIEVERS BANK ON LITTLE COLORED BOTTLES OF `EQUILIBRIUM’
At age 50, Kathleen Goodyear of Kansas City is no Indigo child. But she’s old enough to know when her chakras need balancing.
Each morning she unstops a small “Equilibrium bottle” of a bright orange “living energy” and rubs her face, from neck to temple, with a mixture of essential oil, water, herbs and pulverized crystals, part of one of the latest New Age practices to hit the Kansas City area:
Aura-Soma “soul therapy.”
“I honestly believe there are very powerful energies in this stuff. I have observed it myself,” said Goodyear, an astrologer.

The National Council Against Health Fraud puts Aura-Soma on a vast list of what it deems unproven, crackpot therapies such as coffee enemas and chelation therapy.
“There are no such things as chakras,” said council vice president and psychiatrist Stephen Bennett, referring to the Sanskrit word describing the seven “energy centers” some people believe run through the body. “You have one kind of nonsense interacting with another. They’re treating the soul? Who’s measuring the outcome?”
But Aura-Soma supporters counter: They believe it works and think it helps. So who does it hurt?

Aura-Soma therapy (Aura, Latin for “light air”; Soma, Greek for “body”) was created in 1984 by the now late Vicky Wall, a blind, 66-year-old British herbologist and clairvoyant. Guided by a meditative dream, she concocted a series of vibrantly colored mixtures of oil, water, plant extracts and crystals that she came to believe had healing qualities.

Aura-Soma counselors in 31 countries now use the 104 color combinations to help correct imbalances in any one individual’s vibrational energy. Aura-Soma works on the theory that color, like life, is made of energy.
By applying the liquids of “living energy” on and around the body, one’s own life energy can be brought into balance.

“People are brought up to be dummies,” Bennett said. “There is a tremendous market, particularly in the United States, for all kinds of false, supernatural ideas. I think, in the long run, this is very damaging.”

Prince Nicolas DeVere Von Drakenberg A Dragon and a descendant of the Merovingians?

Listen carefully!

He’s saying that “they” (the Dragons) have a Mad Cow (BSE) or Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease resistance gene. Now think a minute or two about the implications of that statement. BSE is rampant in most of our animal food supply today (no matter what you’ve been told or what you believe!).

Merovingian Connection

Dagobert’s Revenge & The Magdalene Legacy (The Jesus and Mary Bloodline Conspiracy Revelations Beyond The Da Vinci Code). “Laurence Gardner’s historical detective story”. Are expressions of the attempt beyond “Holy Blood, Holy Grail” & “The daVinci Code” to put the living descendants of the Merovingian Bloodline on a mythical pedestal.

“The House of Vere are descended in numerous lines from the Merovingian dynasty and consequently share in this ancient Germanic Royal Blood Tradition. Prince Milo de Vere – married to Charlemagne’s sister – and as Head of the Imperial House and Chief of the Imperial Army, was himself an Imperial Prince.”

* From/ Vere Princedom*

Childeric I (c. 437- c. 482) was the Merovingian king of the Salian Franks from 457 until his death.

The son of King Clotaire II, Dagobert became king of Austrasia and on the death of his father, the sole king of the Franks. By 632 he had Bourgogne and Aquitaine under his rule, becoming the most powerful of the Merovingian kings and the most respected ruler in the West. He married five times.

As king, Dagobert I made Paris his capital. During his reign, he built the Altes Schloss Castle in Meersburg, Germany which today is the oldest inhabited castle in that country. Devoutly religious, Dagobert was also responsible for the construction of the Saint Denis Basilica at the site of a Benedictine Monastery in Paris.

Dagobert was the last of the Merovingian kings to wield any real royal power. In 632 the nobles of Austrasia revolted under Mayor of the Palace Pepin I, and Dagobert appeased the rebellious nobles by putting his three-year-old son Sigebert III on the Austrasian throne, thereby ceding royal power in all but name. When Dagobert died in 639, another son, Clovis II, inherited the rest of his kingdom at age five.

(Hence the name Dagoberts Revenge?)

STILL EVOLVING, HUMAN GENES TELL NEW STORY

Providing the strongest evidence yet that humans are still evolving, researchers have detected some 700 regions of the human genome where genes appear to have been reshaped by natural selection, a principal force of evolution, within the last 5,000 to 15,000 years.

The genes that show this evolutionary change include some responsible for the senses of taste and smell, digestion, bone structure, skin color and brain function.

Many of these instances of selection may reflect the pressures that came to bear as people abandoned their hunting and gathering way of life for settlement and agriculture, a transition well under way in Europe and East Asia some 5,000 years ago.

PROBLEMS WITH BIBLICAL COSMOLOGY

Today we take for granted some ideas that were unthinkable just a few hundred years ago. We have sent men to the moon, sent probes to other planets and photographed other galaxies millions of light years away. But it wasn’t until the 1600’s that Galileo looked through a telescope and saw, to his amazement, that the moon had a terrain that included mountains and valleys and craters. He discovered that Jupiter had moons orbiting around it. He saw “handles” on Saturn, the familiar rings which allow any first grader to identify that planet today. He discovered that our own galaxy, the Milky Way, was actually made up of billions of stars too dim to be seen with the naked eye. Galileo was able to confirm what Copernicus had argued decades earlier, that the earth was not the motionless center of the universe that it was once thought to be.

Although Galileo was right, he was forced in this old age to recant his claims about the motions of the earth, sun and planets. Why? Because the church was in power and was very afraid of Galileo’s findings. They believed that they contradicted the Bible, so they threatened him with torture if he did not recant.
Today, the church is still very afraid of the discoveries being made by scientists. Just look at how they lobby Congress in this country to ban important research like stem cell research and cloning and bioengineering research. They have had to make concessions when science has offered irrefutable proof that they are wrong. But after being proven wrong in so many cases, there are still those who would say that if science contradicts the Bible, science must be wrong.

So let’s look at how the Bible describes our cosmos and compare it to what we know to be true today. Ancient men believed that our world had three parts, arranged like floors in a building. There was the earth, which was widely accepted as flat and thought to have edges or borders. There was the sky, or firmament, which was solid like glass and held water above it. The Gods were thought to reside above the waters of this firmament in heaven. Then there was the underworld, Hades or Hell, which was inhabited by the evil and the dead. That is where terms like “up in heaven” and “down in Hell” originated; odd terms for people who live on a spherical world. The Bible was written with just this kind of primitive cosmology in mind.

FLASH FROM BEGINNING OF TIME REVEALS STRANGE EVENT

The most distant explosion ever recorded, signaling the birth of a black hole near the beginning of time, was more chaotic and lasted longer than astronomers would have expected.

The event was first reported last fall. Today scientists released new findings and an animation that depicts a strange sequence of events in which the explosion of a massive star first settles down but then fires back up several times toward the end.

Astronomers speculate that the black hole did not form instantly, as theory predicts, but that it was a prolonged process.

“This was a massive star that lived fast and died young,” said David Burrows, a professor of astronomy and astrophysics at Penn State and author of one of three papers in the March 9 issue of the journal Nature.

The burst, named GRB 050904, originated 12.8 billion light-years away, which means it occurred 12.8 billion years ago and the light took that long to reach us. It erupted very nearly at the beginning of time—the universe is about 13.7 billion years old.

Infant universe

The event provides the first glimpse of a star when the universe was in its infant stages. Until now, only entire galaxies had been observed so far away.

“Because the burst was brighter than a billion suns, many telescopes could study it even from such a huge distance,” Burrows said.

The event was initially noted by NASA’s orbiting Swift observatory as a gamma-ray burst that lasted more than 8 minutes. That burst of high-energy radiation was followed by afterglows in visible light and other wavelengths on the electromagnetic spectrum. Researchers have been examining the data ever since.

Astronomers know very little about the stars that formed back then, other than the presumption that they were made almost entirely of hydrogen and helium and a trace of lithium; other, heavier elements formed only when the first stars exploded.

Astronomers did find hints of heavier elements in GRB 050904, report a Japanese group led by Nobuyuki Kawai at the Tokyo Institute of Technology.

“We designed Swift to look for faint bursts coming from the edge of the universe,” said Neil Gehrels of NASA Goddard Space Flight Center and Swift’s principal investigator. “Now we’ve got one and it’s fascinating. For the first time we can learn about individual stars from near the beginning of time. There are surely many more out there.”

Primordial investigation

The flaring of GRB 050904 is something not typically seen in closer bursts. That means the earliest black holes might have formed differently than those being born today, Burrows said. The difference could be because the first stars were more massive, or perhaps it’s just because the cosmic environment was different then.

In an analysis of the work, Enrico Ramirez-Ruiz of the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton writes that the combined observations pave the way for the discovery of distant galaxies that are otherwise too dim to spot.

Gamma-ray bursts “will serve not only as signposts to such galaxies, but could be used to study the gradual build-up of heavy elements in them to determine the conversion history of primordial gas into stars, Ramirez-Ruiz writes. “And if bursts can be detected from a time before galaxies had gravitationally assembled, they might even provide a glimpse into the pregalactic phase of the universe.”

God, this conspiracy is getting bigger

As Dan Brown is accused of stealing the plot for the Da Vinci Code, new books are queuing to reveal the truth about the Jesus dynasty and other odd goings on, finds Stuart Wavell

Another day, another conspiracy theory. Dan Brown’s bestseller The Da Vinci Code outraged traditionalists with the idea that Jesus married and had children. The theological applecart is about to be upset again by a new scholarly book that kicks down another central prop of Christianity. It claims Jesus was intent on founding a royal dynasty, not a new religion. With The Jesus Dynasty, published next month, the biblical archeologist James Tabor is tapping into a market that has made a multi-millionaire out of Brown, who was being sued in the High Court last week by Michael Baigent and Richard Leigh. They claim that much of Brown’s novel derives from their 1982 bestseller The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail.

Brown’s book revolves around the theory that Jesus and Mary Magdalene married and founded the Merovingian dynasty of French kings, a secret protected by the Knights Templar and a mysterious group called the Priory of Sion, which included in its membership Leonardo da Vinci. Da Vinci supposedly left a “clue” in his painting The Last Supper by depicting the apostle John as Magdalene.

Tabor, chairman of the department of religious studies at the University of North Carolina, says such speculation is “highly suspect at best”, although he does not rule out the possibility that Jesus married and had children.

From archeological and textual evidence, Tabor has concluded that far from setting himself up as the Messiah, Jesus was intent on establishing himself and his family as the rightful rulers of Israel.

Jesus and his extended family were “royals” descended from King David, who ruled in the 10th century BC, Tabor says. He was proclaimed “king of the Jews” and executed for this claim.

Yet his paternity remains open to debate. His adoptive father Joseph apparently died childless and his mother Mary remarried Joseph’s brother Clopas, but there is “good reason to doubt” whether either of Mary’s two husbands fathered Jesus, Tabor maintains.

So who was his father? According to an anti-Christian work by the philosopher Celsus in AD178, Mary “was pregnant by a Roman soldier named Panthera and was driven away by her husband as an adulterer”. Such was the gossip in Jewish circles. In Germany Tabor tracked down the grave of a Roman soldier of the same name, possibly Jewish, who was a contemporary of Mary.

“So we have the right name, the right occupation, the right place and the right time,” Tabor concludes. “(But) there is no way to prove a connection with this type of evidence, short of DNA tests of identifiable remains.”

Contrary to assumptions that he came to found a new religion that would supersede Judaism, Jesus preached “a very Jewish apocalyptic message”. He wanted a social revolution, informed by spiritual values, in anticipation of the imminent collapse of the Roman empire, Tabor writes.

In the event, after Jesus’s crucifixion in AD30 his half-brother James became head of the family until he was executed in AD62 and was followed by Jesus’s second brother Simon, who ruled for 45 years before his brutal death. Leadership then passed to a man named Judas, perhaps one of Jesus’s nephews.

“What we clearly have is nothing less than a Jesus dynasty, taking us well into the 2nd century AD,” Tabor claims.

However diligent his research, Tabor’s theory is largely speculative, adding to the canon of colourful books that occupy a lucrative publishing niche. In this netherworld where mysteries intersect, nothing is off limits. Certainly not Diana, Princess of Wales.

When Diana died in a car crash in the Pont d’Alma tunnel in central Paris nine years ago, conspiracy theories abounded. But something much more sinister was evidently afoot.

In pre-Christian times, the Pont d’Alma area had been the site of a pagan temple of the goddess Diana and a direct gateway to heaven. Mindful of this safety net, the place was chosen by the Merovingian kings (AD500-751) to fight their duels, with the loser going directly to paradise.

MORE ON THE INDIGO CHILDREN

It’s easy to dismiss the indigo theory as wishful thinking and to be skeptical of those who are profiting from it. Yet to those who do believe, the phenomenon is very real. In Dallas, indigo believers include a university administrator, a personal trainer and a former sales executive with Coca-Cola. Sherylynn Boyd of McKinney, who says she raised two indigo boys, wishes she would have known about the phenomenon sooner. Both boys struggled to finish high school (one dropped out), even though they had been recognized as gifted and talented at their Richardson-area elementary school. “Back then, in the early ’80s, there wasn’t an explanation for it. You had this wave of kids who were exhibiting signs, and they were all diagnosed with ADD.”

BUDDHA BOY DISSAPEARS

KATHMANDU, Nepal – A teenage boy in Nepal whose followers believe he is the
reincarnation of Buddha has suddenly gone missing after 10 months of
meditation, allegedly without food or water, officials said Saturday.

Followers of Ram Bahadur Banjan, 15, reported his disappearance and a police
team has been sent to the jungles of Bara, about 160 kilometers (100 miles)
south of the capital, Kathmandu, to investigate, said Santaraj Subedi, the
chief government official in the district.

It was still unclear when he went missing, but initial reports said he was
last seen on Friday.

Subedi said police were investigating if the boy just wandered into the
jungle or was abducted by local robbers.

Banjan has been sitting cross-legged and motionless with eyes closed in a
niche among the roots of a tree in the jungle since May 17, 2005, according
to his associates, who claim he has had no food or water during that period.

In recent months, thousands of people have come to glimpse the boy, many who
believe Banjan is a reincarnation of Gautama Siddhartha, who was born not
far away in southwestern Nepal around 500 B.C. and later became revered as
the Buddha.

Officials who investigated the claim never interviewed the boy and were
unable to verify the claims.

Visitors have only been allowed to view the Banjan between dawn and dusk
from a roped-off area about 25 meters (80 feet) away. His followers kept him
from public view at night, when they would place a screen in front of him.

Buddhist priests who visited him said the boy was not the incarnation of
Buddha but believed he had been meditating for months.

Buddhism teaches that right thinking and self-control can enable people to
achieve nirvana — a divine state of peace and release from desire. Buddhism
has about 325 million followers, mostly in Asia.

Geometric Revelation and the Mystery of Rennes-le-Chateau
By Tracy Twyman Henry Lincoln began his career as an actor, but turned to screenwriting early on, pumping out hundreds of dramatic scripts for television. But he was especially adept at writing scripts for historical documentaries, such as Nostradamus, The Tomb of Akhehnaton, and The Man in the Iron Mask, which he wrote for BBC Chronicle. It was for this very program that Lincoln wrote his first documentary about Rennes-le-Chateau, France: 1972’s The Lost Treasure of Jerusalem…?, which set him off on a quest that has consumed the rest of his life to date: the pursuit of the mystery of Rennes-le-Chateau.

It is the story of a poor parish priest, Berenger Sauniere, stationed in a tiny hilltop village in Southern France, whose alleged discovery of a set of encoded parchments inside his church purportedly lead to him gaining immense wealth from a source as yet unknown. Said to have been discovered in the late 1800s, the parchments supposedly contained, encoded within them, secrets of a historical and theological nature – secrets which threatened the very foundation of the Catholic Church. Sauniere is believed to have in turn encoded these secrets into the bizarre renovations he commissioned for his church, which stands today as a testament to the forbidden knowledge he had allegedly gained. The priest is said to have died a heretic, and was denied Final Unction on his deathbed.

Lincoln’s investigation of this strange enigma (detailed in Lincoln’s subsequent books, and throughout every issue of Dagobert’s Revenge Magazine) lead to the production of two follow-up documentaries for BBC Chronicle: The Priest the Painter and the Devil in 1974, and The Shadow of the Templars in 1979. Then in 1982, Lincoln and two co-authors, Michael Baigent and Richard Leigh, published the international bestseller, The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail, followed in 1986 by another international bestseller, The Messianic Legacy. In both of these books, the authors laid the groundwork for a theory: that the mystery of Rennes-le-Chateau, and the secret encoded within Sauniere’s parchments, pertained to a sacred bloodline. This was the bloodline of the Merovingian kings of France, who, according to the theory, were the blood descendants of Jesus Christ. In this version of the story, Christ had not died on the cross, but lived on to father a royal dynasty in France with his wife, Mary Magdalen. This, then, was Sauniere’s secret, and this secret was apparently being preserved and passed down through the ages by a shadowy secret society called the Priory of Sion, a group shrouded in the mystique of conspiracy and the occult. Describing themselves as both “Catholic Traditionalists” and “a Hermetic Freemasonry”, the Priory of Sion had the air of an elite mystical order with unorthodox political aspirations and friends in high places. It boasted a pedigree dating back to the Middle Ages, and purported to have once been the parent organization of the notorious Knights Templar. The Priory publicly proclaimed its allegiance to the surviving remnants of the Merovingian bloodline, and its then-Grand Master, Pierre Plantard, proclaimed himself the world’s most direct descendant of the last Merovingian king, Dagobert II.

Holy Blood, Holy Grail and The Messianic Legacy presented a totally new perspective on Christianity, earning the authors international fame, and not a little controversy. Rennes-le-Chateau became a Mecca for treasure seekers, convinced that the source of Sauniere’s wealth was something that he discovered hidden underground somewhere in the surrounding environs. After all, the encoded message of one of Sauniere’s parchments did say, “To Dagobert II, king, and to Sion belongs this treasure …” But Henry Lincoln was convinced that he had already discovered the real treasure of Rennes-le-Chateau back in 1979. It was an almost mathematically perfect pentagram, shaped out of the five mountain peaks which surround Rennes-le-Chateau. And this perfectly mathematical geometry, Lincoln soon learned, could be found throughout the Aude Valley surrounding the village, indicated by churches, chateaux, and other important monuments. Lincoln was able to graph out onto a map a network of pentagrams and hexagrams, laid out upon a grid pattern, all perfectly geometric and made with even measurements of something called the “Megalithic Yard.” As the name denotes, this was the measurement used by our ancient ancestors when creating megalithic monuments like Stonehenge. Obviously, this geometry had been put there by someone quite deliberately, and at least originally, by someone in the remote past. Lincoln embarked upon a journey to thoroughly explore these mysteries, which has so far resulted in two books, The Holy Place and Key to the Sacred Pattern, as well as two video documentaries, The Secret: Investigating the Rennes-le-Chateau Mystery with Henry Lincoln, and Henry Lincoln’s Guide to Rennes-le-Chateau and the Aude Valley, both distributed by Illuminated Word. A new book released last year, The Templars’ Secret Island, was co-written by Erling Haagensen, and pertains to a similar pattern of geometry found on the Danish island of Bornholm.

The Interview

DR: Your opinion is that the geometry of the landscape is the most important thing about Rennes-le-Chateau, right?

HL: It is the only thing which is demonstrable and provable.

DR: How do you think the geometry got there? Was it a human agent, or a natural formation?

HL: What are you trying to say?

DR: I’m just asking, “Who put it there and for what purpose?”

HL: It’s actually a lot more of a complex question than you realize. It would appear that at some point in the remote past – and we don’t know when that is, but probably a time which saw the construction of the great megaliths like Stonehenge and Carnac. Sometime ‘round about then somebody noticed the configuration in the mountains, which are natural. So having been aware that you have this pentagonal structure in the mountains, this automatically endows the place with what one would label “holiness.” It is “As above, so below.” It is the mirror on Earth of the goddess in the heavens. It is a sacred place. Once that had been noticed, then the additional geometry was structured around it. So the original thing was a natural placement of five – or actually six – mountain peaks which formed a near-perfect pentagon. Now I have a qualification about the natural quality of the mountains, because one of my ways of approach is to ask the sort of questions which the normal academic mind will not approach. I am inclined to look with the eyes of a child. Not in a childish way, but with the eyes of a child, and look for simplicity. And one of the questions to be asked about this extraordinary phenomenon of mountains in a perfect geometric form is apparently stupid. Is it possible that somebody could have built the mountains? Now, most people wouldn’t even consider the question. It does seem stupid, doesn’t it?

DR: I don’t think so.

HL: How would you answer that question?

DR: I would just say that the odds of that happening naturally are so astronomical. I mean, it’s like believing that Mt. Rushmore is natural, or something.

HL: So you are now saying that there has to be some “supernormal agency” at work?

DR: I’m saying that it didn’t just happen by itself. It was consciously created.

HL: Well, following the way that most people would interpret that language (1), what I would say is absolutely not. Nothing that we are confronting with Rennes-le-Chateau and its associated phenomena is anything other than within the capabilities of normal intelligent human beings. Homo sapiens, nothing else. You have a near-perfect configuration of mountains. It is not beyond the capability of homo sapiens actually to construct an artificial high point in order to perfect the geometry. You only have to look at the size of Silbury Hill, for instance, which we all know is man-made, or the Great Pyramid. So it is possible that the actual high spots which indicate the pentagon of mountains could have been refined, as it were, though I think that the original mountains in their natural state were already sufficiently close for it to be astronomically unlikely to have originated by chance. But it did. Then around that natural formation, people began to construct a geometric layout. A thousand years later, perhaps, we eventually come to that later period, in the 12th century, when the geometry is now being laid out in the Baltic. And there it is very consciously done, and with much, much more precision. It’s a development of what was begun at Rennes-le-Chateau and is now extended at Bornholm. Have you read The Secret Island? In there I am talking about absolute accuracy. Because at Rennes-le-Chateau we are not talking about absolute accuracy. I used words like “exact” in The Holy Place and Key to the Sacred Pattern in an unscientific way. When you come to The Secret Island, we are being much more exact, because we are not measuring lines on a map anymore, which is what we were doing in the early days. You know, on a map, even with the finest line I can draw I’m still covering ten meters on the ground. An intersection of two lines could be anything up to almost 20 meters. Consequently we are not talking about anything anywhere near perfection. But now we’ve gone beyond that. I’ll give you one of my favorite sentences about it. I’m talking about a piece of geometry which they’d laid out on Bornholm, which is a circle defined in the English measure, and it is 56 English miles in circumference. Now, I had to say, of course, it isn’t absolutely accurate.

DR: How far off is it?

NEPAL’S PILGRIMS PRAY FOR RETURN OF ‘BUDDHA BOY’

Ram Bomjon, the 15-year-old “Buddha boy” of Nepal, has gone missing from the
spot where he has been meditating, supposedly without food or water, for the
last 10 months.

Devotees noticed his absence when they arrived for worship at 6am on
Saturday and went looking for him.

Police began searching but stopped after one day when foul play was ruled
out.

Bed Bahadur Lama, Ram’s uncle, and president of the pilgrimage site
committee, said: “I realised that we are human beings and the meditator is a
god, and human beings cannot find him”.

The only person believed to have seen Ram since he disappeared is Tanka
Bahadur Thing, a 15-year-old from Ram’s village, who was involved in the
initial search.

He claims to have seen Ram dressed as a monk, in the jungle two miles from
his sacred grove an hour after his disappearance was noticed.

“He was walking slowly,” he said. “I didn’t call out but he turned and
looked at me. He joined his hands in greeting because he knows me from the
village, then walked off.”

Tanka said he was both happy and afraid to encounter the errant mystic in
this way and set off to find help. By chance, he met Ram’s father. “I told
him what I had seen and he shouted: ‘Where’s my son? Where’s my son?’ “

Ram’s long vigil beneath a sacred pipal tree in the jungle of southern Nepal
attracted thousands of pilgrims a day and has made him famous around the
world because of the resemblance to an episode in the life of the Buddha.

His claim that he had neither eaten nor drunk throughout his meditation
added to the fervour. But it worried his parents, who now long for his safe
return.

Yesterday, Mayadevi Bomjon, Ram’s mother, was fasting and praying at the
site, her face racked with anxiety.

One theory was that Ram had been driven away by the noisy crowds who flocked
to see him. According to Prem Lama, the boy monk who was Ram’s closest
attendant, Ram said he needed more peace.

In the eyes of many, this theory was confirmed by the arrival of a new
mystic, 51-year-old Hira Maya Lama, from Kathmandu, who is now known as
“Guru Mother”, after the boy’s disappearance.

Mrs Lama says the boy had to move “because it is unholy here and he is being
disturbed”. She also said he intended to wash in a lake. Ten months without
moving from his chosen spot had left Ram caked in dirt. Mrs Lama has said
that, if rituals are carried out to purify the site, he would return after
three days.

Yesterday, Hindu Brahmin priests and Buddhist monks prayed in front of Ram’s
tree, burning lamps and incense, offering fruit and singing incantations.
The once-thriving bazaar and bus park, which had sprung up were deserted.
Bed Badahur Lama said Mrs Lama’s predictions were a factor in deciding to
call off the search. “I’m not holy, I’m a simple man,” he said. “If Guru
Mother says that, I believe her.” Yesterday, the only trace of Ram was a
pile of discarded robes near where he had meditated.

A simple fence had been erected and prayer flags were slung around them.

Hymn of the Pearl and the Shroud of Turin – 1st Century description

Pondering a connection to the Shroud
Biblical scholar Albert Dreisbach poses asks us . . .

to ponder what these seemingly strange expressions might mean, if they do NOT have reference to the Turin Shroud . . .

The images on the garment described, which by historical circumstance seems to be the Shroud of Turin, are said to be “like in a mirror.” The images on the Shroud of Turin, while ghostly and negative are also presumably mirror images.

There are two images on the garment. Are they the head to head positioned ventral and dorsal images we see on the Shroud of Turin?

We need not be concerned, for our purposes here, with shades of Gnosticism of the Act of Thomas; for in all Christian traditions there are kernels of history. It is history that is our concern.

We need not join the debate among scholars about when the Act of Thomas were written or how much if the epic story is allegorical. The Hymn of the Pearl is our concern. It doesn’t matter if the Hymn, specifically, was first written in Syriac or Greek, or if the version in Acts is an evolved version. Many scholar think that the Hymn of the Pearl might be early 1st Century. When is not our concern. What it says is.

There is little question that the Hymn of the Pearl, at least as it was written down, originates in the Mesopotamian city of Edessa. And it was in Edessa, in 544 AD, that the Edessa Cloth was discovered — the cloth that we now know, from solid historical records, was a full burial cloth in which . . .

You can see [not only] the figure of a face, but [also] the figure of the whole body.

Scientists are on the verge of breaking the carbon barrier — creating artificial life and changing forever what it means to be human. And we’re not ready.

Don’t call me Ishmael, for I am not a survivor. Don’t call me Cassandra either, since some might believe what I foretell. Perhaps I am the final manifestation of the singularity ignited in Olduvi Gorge a million and a half years ago. The flame that has grown to consume our planet and send sparks into outer space. The singularity that started as an ineffable, ineluctable pulse resonating through the neural matrix of Homo habilis. A voice that said, You whoever you are, You must sharpen that stone, pick up that bone, cross that line. A voice of supreme paradox; one that simultaneously makes us uniquely human, yet is itself not human. Nor is it the black extraterrestrial monolith of Stanley Kubrick’s imagining. Rather, it was always here. Hard-wired into us at the atomic level — and we into it. A voice whose physical manifestation, the tool, sang its song millions of years before human beings walked the earth. This voice prophesied and then enabled our coming. It will instruct us in our going. Or so I say, while understanding too well that in the 21st century we are all jaded and stultified with sensory overload. It’s always the end of the world as we know it — and we feel bored.

So why listen to the voice of one who is not Ishmael, not Cassandra, not even Ralph Nader? Because I can tell you something that no one else can. I can tell you the exact moment when Homo sapiens will cease to exist. And I can tell you how the end will come. I can show you the exact design of the device that will bring us down. I can reveal the blueprint, provide the precise technical specifications. Long before we can melt the polar ice caps, or denude the rain forests, or colonize the moon, we will be gone. And we will not — definitely will not — end with a bang or a whimper. The human race will go to its extinction in a state of supreme exaltation, like an actor climbing the stairs to accept an Academy Award. We will exit the stage of existence thinking we are going to a spectacular party.

The usual suspects — those who have become known for predicting the evolution of humans and their technology — just don’t get it. Mainly because they don’t understand what the definition of “it” is. They don’t realize what evolution is. They have come to the problem from artificial intelligence, or systems analysis, or mathematics, or astronomy, or aerospace engineering. Folks like Ray Kurzweil, Bill Joy and Eric Drexler have raised some alarms, but they are too dazzled by the complexity and power of human cybersystems, devices and networks to see it coming. They think the power of our tools lies in their ever-increasing complexity — but they are wrong. The biotech folks just don’t get it either. People like Craig Venter and Leroy Hood are too enthralled with the possibilities inherent in engineering biology to get it. And our “bioethicists,” like Arthur Kaplan, and those who cling to their human DNA like it was the Holy Grail or the original tablets of stone, blathering on like Captain Kirk about what special, sacred things we humans are — they can’t possibly get it. All these people who think (or fear) that technology will ultimately trump biology have missed the cosmic point. They are not even wrong. To begin to get it, one must dispense with artificial boundaries. If you are only thinking about cybersystems and DNA you can’t possibly get it. And if you are thinking outside the box, you are still thinking too much like a human being(Gayniggerzionazi).

Cosmic ‘DNA’: Double Helix Spotted in Space

Magnetic forces at the center of the galaxy have twisted a nebula into the shape of DNA, a new study reveals.

The double helix shape is commonly seen inside living organisms, but this is the first time it has been observed in the cosmos.

“Nobody has ever seen anything like that before in the cosmic realm,” said the study’s lead author Mark Morris of UCLA. “Most nebulae are either spiral galaxies full of stars or formless amorphous conglomerations of dust and gas—space weather. What we see indicates a high degree of order.”

These observations, made with NASA’s Spitzer Space Telescope, are detailed in the March 16 issue of the journal Nature.

Disk-driven shape

The DNA nebula is about 80 light-years long. It’s about 300 light-years from the supermassive black hole at the center of the Milky Way. The nebula is nearly perpendicular to the black hole, moving out of the galaxy at a quick clip—about 620 miles per second (1,000 kilometers per second).

Magnetic field lines at the galactic center are about 1,000 times stronger than on Earth. They run perpendicular to the black hole, but parallel through the nebula. Scientists think that twisting of these lines is what causes the double helix shape.

While the black hole might be the first culprit to come to mind, it’s more likely that the magnetic field lines are anchored to a giant gas disk that orbits the black hole several light-years away, researchers say.

It’s like having two strands of rope connected to a fixed point, Morris said. As you spin the strands, they braid around each other in a double helix fashion. In this case the gas and dust of the nebula makes up the strands.

“It’s as if there’s a bar across the middle [of the black hole], or a dumbbell shape, where the strands are anchored, and as it spins around, it twists the strands together,” Morris told SPACE.com.

This process takes a long time, though, since the disk completes one orbit around the black hole roughly every 10,000 years. But that’s an important number. “Once every 10,000 years is exactly what we need to explain the twisting of the magnetic field lines that we see in the double helix nebula,” Morris said.

The recipe

The recipe for a DNA nebula is strict but simple. It requires a strong magnetic field, a rotating body, and a nebulous cloud of material positioned just right.

Massive central black holes are the best sources for both the strong magnetic field and rotating body, and since most large galaxies have them, Morris expects DNA-like nebula may be common through out the universe.

“I absolutely expect to see [this configuration] in gas-rich galaxies with all these elements in place,” Morris said.

However, these nebulas are tough to spot, and current technology limits scientists’ observations to our galaxy.

DNA ORIGAMI

A computer scientist has developed a method to weave stringy DNA molecules into nanometer-scale, two-dimensional patterns ranging from smiley faces to a map of the Americas.

Experts say the “DNA origami” procedure laid out by Paul Rothemund of the California Institute of Technology could be adapted to create nano-computers, new drug delivery systems or even molecular-scale chemical factories.

“We are arriving at a new frontier in our pursuit of ever-smaller structures,” Lloyd Smith, a chemist at the University of Wisconsin at Madison, said in Thursday’s issue of the journal Nature, where Rothemund’s research was published.

Beyond the Indigo Children

By P.M.H. Atwater, L.H.D.

It doesn’t take someone like me to point out that there’s something remarkably different about the children in today’s world. Parents and grandparents, school teachers, counselors and therapists, anyone who knows a child – all of them – say the same thing: our kids know more than we do. And they’re right. The kids do.

“Two key brain-building genes, which underwent dramatic changes in the past that coincided with huge leaps in human intellectual development, are still undergoing rapid mutations, evolution’s way of selecting for new beneficial traits,” so said Bruce Lahn and his University of Chicago colleagues in a study published in the journal Science, dated 9 September 2005. Not everyone has both of these genes, yet reports of mutation are increasing at an unprecedented rate: 70% of the world’s population now evidences one of them, 30% both.

“Just as major environmental changes, such as dramatic shifts in the climate, food supply, or geography, favoured the selection of genetic traits that increased survival skills,” continued Lahn, “the pressures on gene selection today come from an increasingly complex and technologically oriented society.” Numerous genes are involved in brain building, not just the two mutations. Still, there is enough scientific evidence now to back up the claim that our youngest citizens represent a new type of human evolution in our time.

My new book, Beyond the Indigo Children: The New Children and the Coming of the Fifth World (Bear & Co., Rochester, USA), is the first major study of today’s children and their place in our rapidly changing world, that combines objective research with mystical revelation and prophecy.

In it I explore the evolution of the human family, the mystical concept of Root Races (our gene pool), the advance of consciousness throughout the earthplane, ancient calendrical traditions, plus the march of generations, generational signatures and markers (energy imprints), characteristics of the new children (their talents and weaknesses), as well as their place in the “great shifting” as the energetic universe accelerates in vibration.

To call our new children indigos, crystals, star, sky, or psychic children utterly misses the mark. These are labels that do more to promote exclusive clubs of specialness than to honour and celebrate those born since around 1982.

Did the Holy Grail Exist? – The Grail Code and Hindu Kundalini how it affects Your Health
March 16th, 2006

Right now the whole world is going mad over the Da Vinci Code and its supposed secrets of the Holy Grail. Well, in fact there is a brand new book out called The Serpent Grail, which sets about proving that the grail was in fact a mixing bowl for the Elixir of Life. In fact, I am the main author of that book and I have gone several steps further and proven that the mixture of venom and blood from the snake actually boosts the immune system and thereby aided ancient man in battling off disease. But there was another level – a more psychological and some would say, spiritual level. This level became our “quest” for the grail and the ultimate enlightenment, or so it was thought. But there are dangers.

There is an ancient Hindu practice similar and linked to our modern concept of meditation. It is known as the Kundalini, which means coiled serpent and links through India to the literal mixing of venom and blood. Many of you reading this article will think they know all about the kundalini. However, can I ask you a simple question? Have you gone back to the root sources? Have you checked out what the original texts say? Or have you taken your knowledge from a modern book or website? Or listened to the so-called teachings of a modern swami who claims to be able to improve your mind? You see, what we today claim to be the kundalini is nothing like the original teachings at all. What we have actually done is to project our own desires and modern needs onto an ancient system and this has altered our perception of what the kundalini was. In fact, modern science can and has uncovered the effects of this process and has even pinpointed the electro-chemical reactions causing the blinding visions and “sense” of all-knowledge. It is however, dangerous!

Was this what David Koresh was trying to crack when he mentioned working on the 7 Seals?

THE SIGN AND THE SEAL
by Graham Hancock

It was growing dark and the air of the Ethiopian highlands was chill when the monk appeared. Stooped and leaning on a prayer stick he shuffled towards me from the doorway of the sanctuary chapel and listened attentively as I was introduced to him. Speaking in Tigrigna, the local language, he then sought clarification through my interpreter about my character and my motives: from which country had I come, what work did I do there, was I a Christian, what was it that I wanted from him?

Initiation: 1986

I answered each of these questions fully, squinting through the gloom as I talked, trying to make out the details of my inquisitor’s face. Milky cataracts veiled his small sunken eyes and deep lines furrowed his black skin. He was bearded and probably toothless – for although his voice was resonant it was also oddly slurred. All I could be sure of, however, was that he was an old man, as old as the century perhaps, that he had his wits about him, and that he did not seem to be seeking information about me out of idle curiosity. Only when he was satisfied with everything that I had said did he condescend to shake hands with me. His grip was dry and delicate as papyrus and from the thick robes that he wore, faint but unmistakable, arose the holy odour of frankincense.

Now that the formalities were over I got straight to the point. Gesturing in the direction of the building that loomed in shadowy outline behind us, I said: ‘I have heard of an Ethiopian tradition that the Ark of the Covenant is kept here… in this chapel. I have also heard that you are the guardian of the Ark. Are these things true?’

‘They are true.’

‘But in other countries nobody believes these stories. Few know about your traditions anyway, but those who do say that they are false.’

‘People may believe what they wish. People may say what they wish. Nevertheless we do possess the sacred Tabot, that is to say the Ark of the Covenant, and I am its guardian…’

‘Let me be clear about this,’ I interjected. ‘Are you referring to the original Ark of the Covenant – the box made of wood and gold in which the Ten Commandments were placed by the prophet Moses?’

‘Yes. God Himself inscribed the ten words of the law upon two tablets of stone. Moses then placed these tablets inside the Ark of the Covenant – which afterwards accompanied the Israelites during their wanderings in the wilderness and their conquest of the Promised Land. It brought them victory wherever they went and made them a great people. At last, when its work was done, King Solomon placed it in the Holy of Holies of the Temple that he had built in Jerusalem. And from there, not long afterwards, it was removed and brought to Ethiopia…’

‘Tell me how this happened,’ I asked. ‘What I know of your traditions is only that the Queen of Sheba is supposed to have been an Ethiopian monarch. The legends I have read say that when she made her famous journey to Jerusalem she was impregnated by King Solomon and bore him a son – a royal prince – who in later years stole the Ark…’

The monk sighed. ‘The name of the prince you are speaking of was Menelik – which in our language means “the son of the wise man”. Although he was conceived in Jerusalem he was born in Ethiopia where the Queen of Sheba had returned after discovering that she was carrying Solomon’s child. When he had reached the age of twenty, Menelik himself travelled from Ethiopia to Israel and arrived at his father’s court. There he was instantly recognized and accorded great honour. After a year had passed, however, the elders of the land became jealous of him. They complained that Solomon showed him too much favour and they insisted that he must go back to Ethiopia. This the king accepted on the condition that the first-born sons of all the elders should also be sent to accompany him. Amongst these latter was Azarius, son of Zadok the High Priest of Israel, and it was Azarius, not Menelik, who stole the Ark of the Covenant from its place in the Holy of Holies in the Temple. Indeed the group of young men did not reveal the theft to Menelik until they were far away from Jerusalem. When at last they told him what they had done he understood that they could not have succeeded in so bold a venture unless God had willed it. Therefore he agreed that the Ark should remain with them. And it was thus that it was brought to Ethiopia, to this sacred city… and here it has remained ever since.’

‘And are you telling me that this legend is literally true?’

‘It is not a legend. It is history.’

‘How can you be so sure of that?’

‘Because I am the guardian. I know the nature of the object that has been placed in my care.’

We sat in silence for a few moments while I adjusted my mind to the calm and rational way in which the monk had told me these bizarre and impossible things. Then I asked him how and why he had been appointed to his position. He replied that it was a great honour that he should have been chosen, that he had been nominated with the last words of his predecessor, and that when he himself lay on his death-bed his turn would come to nominate his own successor.

‘What qualities will you look for in that man?’

‘Love of God, purity of heart, cleanliness of mind and body.’

‘Other than you,’ I asked next, ‘is anyone else allowed to see the Ark?’

‘No. I alone may see it.’

‘So does that mean that it is never brought out of the sanctuary chapel?’

The guardian paused for a long while before answering this question. Then, finally, he told me that in the very distant past the relic had been brought out during all the most important church festivals. More recently its use in religious processions had been limited to just one occasion a year. That occasion was the ceremony known as Timkat which took place every January.

‘So if I come back next January will I have a chance of seeing the Ark?’ The monk looked at me in a way that I found strangely disconcerting and then said: ‘You must know that there is turmoil and civil war in the land… Our government is evil, the people oppose it, and the fighting comes closer every day. In such circumstances it is unlikely that the true Ark will be used again in the ceremonies.

We cannot risk the possibility that any harm might come to something so precious … Besides, even in time of peace you would not be able to see it. It is my responsibility to wrap it entirely in thick cloths before it is carried in the processions…’

‘Why do you wrap it?’

‘To protect the laity from it.’

I remember asking my interpreter to clarify the translation of this last puzzling remark: had the monk really meant ‘to protect the laity from it’? Or had he meant ‘to protect it from the laity’? It was some time before I got my answer. ‘To protect the laity from it. The Ark is powerful.’

Nepalese Buddha Boy ‘reappears’

Bomjan spent 10 months under this tree
A missing Nepalese teenager popularly known as “Buddha Boy” reappeared briefly on Sunday, his followers say.
The committee managing the meditation site of Ram Bomjan, 16, released video of its members purportedly meeting the boy near his village in southern Nepal.

The boy’s meditation and apparent 10-month fast attracted global attention before he vanished in March.

Large numbers of devotees flocked to see him to leave offerings. A massive search operation is still under way.

FINDING THE HOLY GRAIL

By Janae B. Weinhold, Ph.D., & Barry K. Weinhold, Ph.D.

As seekers whose paths converged in a mystery school, professions in psychology and healers of our childhood wounds, we’ve long been aware of our own yearnings to experience something mystical, larger than ourselves. Accompanied by a constant, imperceptible feeling that we came from “somewhere else,” our interactions with friends, clients, students and colleagues indicate that these feelings are not only common but perhaps universal.

Virtually every culture has some tradition aimed at satisfying the spiritual quest for the Holy Grail. Some of the most ancient seekers utilized chanting, drumming and hallucinatory plants, while more contemporary ones have turned to meditation, mind-altering drugs and technology.
Our experiences have provoked several critical questions. What exactly is the “Holy Grail” that so many are seeking? What drives this quest? Why does finding the “Grail” seem so elusive? Is it possible to get beyond being a seeker and become a finder?

DEEPENING MYSTERY OF MISSINGBUDDHA BOY’

The mystery surrounding the disappearance of Nepal’s 15-year-old “Buddha Boy” has deepened, after he briefly appeared to supporters then vanished again.

Footage apparently shot on Sunday shows Ram Bomjon, the would-be Buddha, meeting members of the committee that manages his hugely popular, and profitable, pilgrimage site.

Ram is shown with unkempt hair but looking healthy.

Committee president Bed Bahadur Lama said Ram left his meditation place 10 days ago because of the noise made by pilgrims.

The circumstances in which seven committee members shot the video two miles from where he meditated were not clear.

The organising committee is the principal source for many of the claims. During Ram’s 10-month vigil no visitor has seen him eat or drink, but the attraction was closed to non-committee members at night.

The committee has prevented a medical team from conducting an examination of the teenager.

Santaraj Subedi, the chief official in the district, said yesterday that the bank account that he had insisted the committee open had been frozen after Ram’s disappearance. It contained more than £500,000.

Mr Subedi is urgently trying to track down Ram.

The Search for the Holy Grail

You may or may not know of me, I am the author of several books, including my latest The Serpent Grail and another Gnosis: The Secret of Solomon’s Temple Revealed.

In these books we uncover the secrets of the ancients and reveal the true Holy Grail – an actual artefact within which was mixed the Elixir of Life. All this work didn’t take an afternoon.

In fact it took many years work and many thousands of miles of travelling across the globe.

We travelled from the beautifully romantic city of Paris, with its enigmatic buildings and wonderfully laid back atmosphere, to frantic and noisy Rome, with its carefree and yet devout attitude to life.

We took in the cosmopolitan Malta – a mixture of medieval Europe’s greatest minds and artistic flare – and saw for ourselves the serpentine temples of Mnadjra and the time capsule of crusader Mdina. We climbed mountains in Cyprus to discover Orthodox Greek Cypriot Churches with their incredible iconography.

On to Egypt, with its ancient and sacred secrets, locked up in images that play mysterious tricks upon the mind. From there we flew across the vast oceans to America, where we met up with the North American Indians and engrossed ourselves in the culture and traditions; sweat lodges, respect for the earth and an understanding of the ancient spirits. Next we made our way to the Far East and bent our minds to the new mindset required to comprehend the Eastern ways.
We took in Portugal, Spain, Greece and many more places on our “Grail Journey” and we came away with our “truth”. Now, after two years of laborious work our journey has come to an end with the launch of our book, The Serpent Grail and boy, what a journey. But in many respects this is a journey we have only just begun.

Before being a writer and researcher I had been a marketing guy and had found my life lacking in spirit and fun, especially the joy of travel. Then I discovered a secret in the depths of ancient texts and my mind raced, where my body could not go. And so a new quest had begun, a new life was sparked in that moment of discovery and I could no longer resist the desire to go see and touch the amazing history of man’s past for myself. It was a unique journey of discovery, for everywhere I went I saw confirmation of my insight.

In Paris, I visited the Louvre and saw the culmination of thousands of years of the inner wisdom tradition, which surrounded the serpent cult. In Rome, I immersed myself in the feeling of the timeless city and incredibly came away with more than I had bargained for.

Even in the Vatican there were thousands of images of the wise serpent. In St Peter’s the very columns were topped with winged snakes. In Malta, I found the imagery of St Paul’s supposed contact with the serpent cults and visited the ancient megalithic monuments erected by serpent cults.

In Egypt, I saw first hand the mysterious images of snakes, which are simply everywhere and in South America I enjoyed the warm embrace of the serpent cults descendants who still live and work in the remote areas.

But this is a new life for me and my co-author, Gary Osborn, because neither of us have ever been big authors before on the world-wide stage. It is a new journey also, because we are now signed up to an American company (www.powerplaces.com) in-order to take other people on our journey too – another unique experience.

We are hoping that we can re-live the excitement and joy we felt as we travelled across the globe on our voyage of discovery, and we hope that others will too. It is a wonderful world, full of mystery, awe, beauty and excitement. We may still think the world is a small place, that can be traversed in just a few hours by some modern fast jet, but in truth, getting down to the ground, we see and experience much, much more. The Priory of Sion Part 1/ A “secret society

Possibilities

The man at the centre of the Priory of Sion is one Pierre Plantard. Who is Pierre Plantard? Conman? Descendent of Christ? To quote Dan Burstein: “It is often hard in the case of Plantard to find the line what is known and what is a good story.” At the same time, it is clear that the available evidence has often been interpreted in more complex ways than is really required. In this analysis, we will specifically try and interpret an overarching principle or consistent behaviour in the man – and his mysteries.

Birth

The Priory of Sion came into existence when it was registered on May 7, 1956, at the Sub-prefecture of St-Julien-en-Genevois, in the Haute Savoie. By French law, associations need to be registered, so there is nothing unusual in this fact. But it does provide us with first-hand evidence, uncorrupted by later spin – from the horse’s mouth.
Its officers were: as president, André Bonhomme (profession listed as press correspondent). Intriguingly, he also lists his alias Stanis Bellas – we can only wonder what they were intending to do that it required their pseudonyms to go on record. Pierre Plantard – alias Chyren – was secretary (profession: journalist). Chyren is used by Nostradamus in his prophecies. Jean Deleaval was vice-president, a draughtsman in Geneva and Armand Defago, treasurer – a technician from Annemasse.
The address of the association was a house called “Sous-Cassan” in Annemasse – Plantard’s address, which is not too uncommon seeing he was the secretary. Officialdom then took its course and the sub-prefecture then passed it on, which resulted in the organisation being announced in the Journal officiel on June 25, 1956. Some researchers have made a lot of this “official announcement”, but it is nothing more than rubber stamping by the bureaucracy. An organisation is “official” as soon as it is submitted to a prefecture; the announcement in the Journal is purely internal governmental bureaucracy, executing the letter of the law. Researchers have also noted that the association was listed as for “study and mutual assistance”, which is a common term, like the English “friendly society” that covers a myriad of purposes.

The Priory of Sion Part 2/ The First Gauls

A previous incarnation

The creation of an association is no big deal. Still, it should be noted that the Priory wasn’t Plantard’s first such creation. That honour goes to the “Ordre Alpha Galates”. The statutes of the Alpha Galates are dated December 27, 1937, but if they were truly from that period, we note that they were only registered in 1942. The official publication in the Journal came in September 1944, after the war had ended.
The official purpose of the association is to provide aid for young people who had suffered under the German occupation, but equally describes itself as being led by knightly and patriotic ideals through mutual support and group activities. This wording is of course identical to the 1956 statutes, as is the inner organisation: nine grades, though this time lead not by a helmsman, but by “His Druidic Majesty”. The statutes also say that the organisation is divided into two groups, the Legion and the Phalanx, and is organised into Arches and provinces, like the Priory, suggesting that the statutes of the Priory were partially reused from the organisation of the Alpha Galates. Also, we find that the order is registered at Plantard’s home address – he was living in Paris at the time.

What if Jesus survived the crucifixion?

‘Holy Blood, Holy Grail’ author Michael Baigent makes shocking assertions against the conventional account of Jesus’s death in his new book

What if everything you think you know about Jesus is wrong? In The Jesus Papers, Michael Baigent reveals the truth about Jesus’s life and crucifixion.

Despite—or rather because of—all the celebration and veneration that have surrounded the figure of Jesus for centuries, Baigent asserts that Jesus and the circumstances leading to his death have been heavily mythologized.

Read an excerpt of Baigent’s new book, below.

Chapter one: Hidden documents
My telephone rang. It was about 10:00 a.m. I remember the sun dappling the wall before me. It sparkled. It was the perfect day to be in English country village.

“Can you get the next train to London? Don’t ask why.”

I groaned silently: wall-to-wall cars. Scarce taxis. Noise, pollution, crowded subways. A day spent either inside rooms or traveling between them, the sun a distant memory.

“Sure,” I replied, knowing that my friend would never have made such a request unless it was important.

“And can you bring a camera with you?”

“Sure,” I replied again, vaguely bemused.

“And can you hide the camera?”

Suddenly, he had my attention. What was up? My friend was a member of a small and discreet group of international dealers, middlemen, and purchasers of high-value antiquities – not all of which carried the required paperwork permitting them to be traded on the open market.

I put a camera and some lenses in a standard-looking briefcase, threw in plenty of film, and jumped in my car for the drive to the station.

I met my friend outside a restaurant in a famous London street. He was an American, and with him were two Palestinians, a Jordanian, a Saudi, and an English expert from a major auction house.

They were all expecting me, and after brief introductions, the expert from the auction house departed, apparently not wishing to be involved in what was to happen. The rest of us walked to a nearby bank, where we were quickly led through the banking hall, along a short corridor, and into a small private room with frosted windows.

As we all stood around a table placed in the middle of the room, making desultory small talk, the bank officials carried in two wooden trunks and laid them down before us. Each trunk bore three padlocks. As the second was carried in, one of the officials said pointedly, as if “for the record”: “We don’t know what is in these trunks. We don’t want to know what is in them.”

They then brought a telephone into the room and departed, locking the door behind them.

The Jordanian made a telephone call to Amman. From the little conversation that ensued (which was in Arabic), I gathered that permission had been requested an obtained. The Jordanian then produced a set of keys and unlocked the trunks.

They were stuffed full of exact-fitting sheets of cardboard. And on each sheet, I was horrified to note, there were hundreds of pieces of papyrus text roughly fixed to the cardboard by small strips of clear adhesive tape. The texts were written in Aramaic or Hebrew. Accompanying them were Egyptian mummy wrappings inscribed in demotic – the written form of Egyptian hieroglyphics.

I knew that it was common for such wrappings to bear sacred texts, and so the owners of this hoard must have unwrapped at least a mummy or two. The Aramaic or Hebrew texts looked, at first sight, like the Dead Sea Scrolls, which I had seen before, although they were written mostly on parchment. This collection was a treasure trove of ancient documents. I was very intrigued and increasingly desperate to let some scholar know about their existence, perhaps to secure access for them.

As the cardboard sheets were removed from the trunks, I was told that the owners were trying to sell the documents to an unspecified European government. The price asked was 3 million (approximately $5.6 million). Those present wanted me to take a representative selection of photographs that could be shown to the prospective buyer in order to move the sale one stage further toward a successful conclusion. I then realized which government was the most likely to be interested. But I kept the thoughts to myself.

But I was becoming increasingly anxious that these documents might simply vanish into limbo from which they had emerged. That they might be bought by some purchaser who would sit on them for many years, as had happened with the Nag Hammadi texts and the Dead Sea Scrolls. Or worse, I feared that without a purchaser, they might simply disappear back into the deepest, darkest recesses of the bank, joining the many other valuable documents known to be locked away in safe-deposit boxes and trunks around the world.

It seemed likely that since I had taken a lot of photographs, and since no one would be counting, I would be able to hide at least one of the rolls of film so that there might be at least some proof that this collection even existed. I successfully slipped one into a pocket.

When the photography was finished and the cardboard sheets were being placed back into the trunks, I gave a handful of exposed film rolls to one of the owners. He looked down at them.

“Where is the other film?” he said immediately. He had been counting.

“Other film?” I said lamely, trying to present an image of abstracted innocence while ostentatiously patting my pockets.

“Oh. You’re right. Here it is.” I produced the film I was hoping to keep. I was irritated and rather depressed. I really wanted to have some proof of what I had seen.

At that point my friend realized what I was up to and, in an inspired move, came to the rescue.

“Where are you getting these films developed?” he asked innocently.

“At a photographic shop,” replied the man holding my film.

“That’s not very secure,” said my friend. “Look, Michael was a professional photographer, and he could do all the developing and printing you off as many sets as you need. That way there is no risk.”

“Good idea,” the man said and handed back the films.

Naturally I printed a full set of photographs for myself. Later I arranged to meet the Jordanian – who seemed to be in charge – for lunch, where I was to give him the prints and negatives. During lunch I argued that if some scholars could look at the texts and identify what they saw, then perhaps their insight would be helpful in raising the value of the collection. I asked the Jordanian if he would give me permission to speak to a few experts on the matter – very discreetly, of course. After some thought, he agreed that this was probably a good idea, but he made it very clear that neither I nor the experts could talk about this collection to anyone else.

Several days later I went to the Western Asiatic Department of the British Museum with a full set of prints. I had dealt with the department before during the course of researching one of my books, From the Omens of Babylon, and I trusted the scholars there not only to give me an honest opinion but to maintain confidentiality as well.

The expert I had dealt with before was not there, and one of his colleagues came into the small anteroom and spoke with me instead. I briefly told him the story about the trunks of documents and about my photographs. I stressed that this was a commercial exercise for the owners and that I would be grateful for his discretion, since large sums of money sometimes cause equally large problems. I requested that he find someone competent in the field to take a look at these photos to see if they were of any importance. If so, I would do my best to get the interested scholar access to the entire collection. I then passed over my set of prints.

Weeks passed. I heard nothing from the British Museum. I became concerned. Finally, after a month, I returned to the museum and made my way up to the Western Asiatic Department. I met with another expert there.

“I brought a set of photographs in a month ago, which I had taken of a large number of papyrus texts. I have not heard anything back from you. I wonder if anyone has had a chance to take a look at them?”

The expert stared at me blankly.

“What photographs?”

I went through the story again for his benefit. He seemed distracted, unconcerned. He had not heard of any such photographs being brought into the department; in any case, it wasn’t his field. They were most likely given to another specialist who was working there for a time and who had now left.

“Where has he gone?” I asked.

“I don’t know” was the reply. “I think to Paris. I am sorry about your photographs.”

I never heard any more about them. Without a written receipt for them, there was nothing I could do. Luckily I had a few reject prints still at home so I could prove that the collection did in fact exist, but not nearly enough to give anyone an idea of the range of subjects that might have been in it. An expert, looking at my few remaining prints, identified most of the texts as records of commercial transactions.

Ten or twelve years later I was walking down a street lined with expensive shops in a large Western city when I saw one of the Palestinians who had been present in the bank that day. I went up to him and asked if he remembered me.

“Of course,” he replied. “You were the colleague of…” and he gave the name of my friend.

“You know,” I began, “I have always wondered what happened to those ancient texts I photographed that day in the bank. Were they ever sold?”

“I haven’t heard anything about them,” he quickly replied, unconvincingly, and then, giving a good impression of being rather busy, he elegantly and politely excused himself and walked off.

I cannot say that I was surprised, for I have spent many years living in a world where potentially crucial keys to the mysteries of our past are simultaneously available and elusive. As we will see, these trunks of documents are not the only such examples of important evidence remaining, tantalizingly, just out of reach.

the priory of sion is a hoax as well. Le dossiers secret or whatever the fuck its called was planted by that guy who wanted people to think he had this “special blood”. Him and a freind did it. Then whatever his name is writes the holy blood holy grail, and dan brown pulls a chrichton. He takes research of a hoax from holy blood, and changes it in to a novel. Embellishing facts left and right.

And you’ve just proved my long held belief about people who attach every evil act in history to a bavarian secret society.

neverknwo sez: “In the bible there is written in Revelation thats describe the Great Deciever who will rise from the Dead to Rule the New World Order.”

You believe that the stories contained in the new testament are canon. Therefore you believe the destruction myth in revelations is true. From there you use inductive reasoning to find proof of this prophecy.

You obviously have a large working knowledge of different religions/cults in history and you know that for the most part they all have creation and destruction myths. To embrace christianity’s destruction myth as truth is not using critical thought. Its a book written by people that plagarized oral histories and other ancient texts.

And instead of saying humans have aligator blood in them, can’t you say “aligators have human dna in them” doesn’t it mean the same thing?
Which is nothing significant, we share DNA with every living thing.

I can never keep up with your spam, but I like to catch one of your videos every once in awhile.

-This is true. Because the ocean floor is constantly moving out from the middle they can look waaaaaay back in time by studying it far from the center. There are periods of different polarities. If you look at the ocean floor as a kind of shaded diagram the periods of time are relatively similar(assuming the rifting speed is constant) and we are really overdue for a shift.

I just saw this and had to say something. I have always found this fact incredibly fascinating.

*Maitreya Claims To Be Decended From King David & Muhammad with comment by Sandy Simpson, 4/4/06*

————————————————————————————————————————

This article was sent to me by a reader of the DITC web site. These geneology claims were to be expected from promoters of Maitreya. They are trying to sycretize all religions into one with Maitreya being the expected coming Christ, etc. Check out the following links for their claims about Maitreya. Maitreya is a good candidate for the antichrist. Keep in mind while viewing this material that it is full of lies. However, this proposed geneology does show that Maitreya is from and Islamic country, which would be consistent with the view of many biblical scholars that the antichrist will be from and Islamic country.

Maitreya’s Genealogy to King David and Prophet Muhammad

(also: Maitreya’s genetic family tree!)

In four of the great religions (Judaism, Christianity, Islam, and Bahá‘í) there is an expectation that the Messiah should come from the lineage of King David and Prophet Muhammad (a Sayyed). This is obvious in Judaism as Christians have already tried to connect Christ’s genealogy to King David. In Christianity, the Messiah is prophesied as The Lion of the Tribe of Judah (which King David also was from – Juda) who will open the the Book Sealed with the Seven Seals (Revelation 5:6). In Islam, it is
Prophesied that Mahdi (their Expected One) will be from the lineage of Prophet Muhammad, as do the Bahá‘ís. He will be born as a Sayyed, as a descendent of Prophet Muhammad through His daughter Fatima and His son-in-law Ali, the fourth Imam of Islam.

Maitreya has fulfilled these Expectations!

In the prophecy pages we will look at all the prophecies that stem from Maitreya’s genealogy, but in this section we will only look at the genealogy itself, discuss it in depth, and look at some of the implications His genealogy has.

Maitreya (The Lion of the Tribe Of Judah, a Sayyed – God Is With Him and His family)

An Explanation Of Maitreya’s Genealogy

The first section of his genealogy chart is a list of the generations from Adam (Atman) to Abram (Abraham). In the days of these generations, several significant events occurred, such as the creation of man in the physical manifested world, creating man and woman, the fall of man, the removal of man’s occult powers, the division of the earth (and the scattering of the Great Souls and Spiritual knowledge), the Flood of Noah, and the emergence of the five classes of the human (the sons of Noah). It is important to realize in this part of Maitreya’s genealogy that Maitreya is the child of Shem (as was also Abram or Abraham) – and a true Spiritualist (for more detail, read The Holiest Of The Holies (THOTH), The Last Testament the section after the flood of Noah).

The second section of genealogy is a list of the generations of Abraham through His son Isaac to King David. From this section we can see that Maitreya’s genealogy goes back to Abraham through the tribe of Judah and King David. Maitreya is prophesied to sit on the throne of David; He could easily do that if He is a descendent of King David himself.

Also, it is important to note that the genealogy of the priests of Israel from Aaron eventually intermarry with the kings of Judah, and so Maitreya is also a true Priest in this sense as well. Briefly listed here are the generations of the priests of Levi (the sons of Jacob and Aaron) until they marry into the line of the Davidic Kings: Levi, Kohath, Aram, Aaron, Eleezer, Phinehus, Abishua, Bukki, Uzzi, Zerahiah, Meraioth, Ameriah, Zadok, Ahimoaz, Azariah, Ahitubt, Zadok, Shallum, Hikiah, Azariah, Seraiah, Jehozadek, Esa (Jesus), Zarababel the King of Judeah and Persia. Maitreya therefore, exhibits the scepter and kingly qualities mentioned in THOTH (read the book: CHILDREN OF ABRAM (ABRAHAM), “ALL PROPHECIES ARE FULFILLED” in THOTH.).

The third section shows that Maitreya is the son of David through his first child Solomon. Solomon took the throne after his father, so Maitreya is the descendent of the kingly branch of David, and from the same genealogy as Esa (Jesus) the Christ . After the death of Solomon, the kingdom of Israel divided into two and the genealogical line we follow is from Solomon’s son Rehoboam. The kingdom stayed divided until King Shealtiel. During his reign in Judah, the Assyrians invaded and were able to conquer the northern kingdoms.

From the generations after Zerubbabel (Shealtiel’s son – Haggai 1:1) until Bostanai, the kings of Judah were known as exilarchs who ruled with little or no authority in exile, until the time of Zerubbabel who became the King of Judah by the benevolence of King Cyrus The Great. After that period, the lineage of the kings of Judah ends in the Bible, but even in exile there has been a King on the throne of David. King Bostanai (the last of the exilarchs) intermarried with the Persian kings and their child,
Shahari Surhab, became the King of Persia, and subsequently the King of Judah. From Sharhari Surhab until Abbas Khan, we follow the genealogy of the Persian Kings, father to son. The paragraphs which follow are a much more in-depth description of the generations from Abbas Khan, the King of Persia, to Maitreya Himself.

Imam Quli Beg-e Afshar (noted as Abbas Khan or Nadir Shah on the genealogy chart) was the son of Nadir Quli (Imam Muhammad Quli Beg Khan) and was King of Persia. He had one wife (Khanum) who died after 1737, and she bore two sons.

a) Nadir Quli Beg-e Afshar (born in 1102/1688), who ascended the throne as H.M. Nadir Shah, Shahanshah of Persia.
b) General H.H. Muhammad Ibrahim Khan-e Afshar, Zahir ud-Daula.

The history found at the following website states emphatically that Lutf (Lotf) Ali Khan was the son of Shahrukh who was given to Sayyed Hasan for marriage to his daughter (http://www.canis.net/~heritage/histoire/history07/history749.html). “After
Nader’s death, Sayyed Abu’l Hasan took a winter residence in Kirman itself, retaining his house at Babak for the summer. Shahrokh Khan accorded him great respect, even marrying his son Lotf (Lutf) Ali Khan to the Sayyed’s (Imam’s) daughter.” (Ibid. p. 135)

So Maitreya’s genealogy to Nadir Shah is as follows:

Imam Muhammad Quli Beg Khan Nadir Shah Ridagholi (Rezagholi) Beg Shah Rokh Lotfali Khan (son in law of Sayyed Hasan Beg) Karimtool Muhammad Zaman Khan Baba Beg Karimtool II Allahverdi Beg Agha Beg Karim Beg Habibullah Beg Aghajani Beg Mullah Bahram Mullah Abdullah Abdulkarim Maitreya

Maitreya’s ancestral line is from Nadir Shah. Since Nadir Shah’s ancestry has already been proven to connect him to King David, Maitreya’s lineage, therefore, also goes back to King David himself. It makes Maitreya a potential candidate to be, “The Lion Of Judah.” Since He has fulfilled all of the prophecies (as we see in the prophecy pages) we can be sure, with certainty, that He indeed is the Promised One; He is The Lion Of The Tribe of Judah, The Messiah.

Furthermore, Maitreya is a Sayyed. Sayyed is a title that is only given to those who are from the lineage of Prophet Muhammad. In Islam, it is Prophesied that Mahdi (their Expected One) will be from the lineage of Prophet Muhammad, as did the Babies/Bahá‘ís. He will be born as a Sayyed, as a descendent of Prophet Muhammad through His daughter Fatima and His son-in-law Ali, the fourth Imam of Islam. Those who are called Imams or Sayyeds in His Genealogy are Sayyeds (you can not become imam if you are not ascended from Prophet Muhammad). There are many such people in Maitreya’s genealogy (such as Imam Muhammad Quli Beg Khan, father of Nadir Shah). Therefore, Maitreya is also from the lineage of Prophet Muhammad, a Sayyed.

These genealogical connections to King David (Abraham and Adam), and to Prophet Muhammad, should satisfy the expectation of at least three great religions of the world, namely: Judaism, Christianity, Islam. This also should satisfy the expectation of the followers of Bab (Bahá‘u’lláh) that “He Who Shall Manifest” is a descendent of Prophet Muhammad and King David (as they have tried to prove this about Bahá‘u’lláh, the founder of the Bahá‘í faith! Babies were the original followers of Bab (the correct founder of the Bab/Bahá‘í Faith!).

With fulfillment of all the Prophesies, opening of the Seven Seals and the Book Sealed with the Seven Seals (and this genealogy) the rest of humanity also should not have any problem recognizing that the expected one is on earth!

Note1: The information on the ancestral connection from Nadir Shah to Maitreya (Chart From Nadir Shah To Maitreya) has been gathered by asking elders in Iran, who remember Maitreya’s family tree, and by the use of the book: Nadir Shah’s Children, by Abdolhossain Navai, published by Zarin Publishing company in Iran, 1989. The book was found in the Iranian
Parliament (Majles) library, in Tehran.

also: Maitreya’s genetic family tree!

Chinese Connection

Furthermore, Sharwin (father of Isaac Karim) married Bayanue, daughter of Mo-Yen-Cho or Moyunchur, King of Uighur whose wife was Ning-Kuo, daughter of Su-Zong, the only female Emperor of China – Tang Dyn. This also connects
Maitreya to the Chinese dynasties! Many Buddhists are waiting for Maitreya to come from the Far East (where Buddhism is the strongest)! In fact, Emperor Wu (Su-Zong) encouraged Buddhist philosophy (religions!) over Taoism and Confucius philosophies, and built many Buddhist temples and hospitals. Many believed that she was The Maitreya. She was not The Maitreya, It seems, however, she sure had a part in Maitreya’s appearance on earth. This also might help some Buddhist in recognizing that Maitreya we represent is the One they are waiting for!

NOTE

Most information in the paragraph above has come from a source that wants to stay anonymous! Therefore we do not consider the accuracy of the information above verified by the Mission. If anyone can verify this information for us, we would surely appreciate it. We assume it is accurate!

Illuminati’s Agenda

Researcher of esoteric history, Alan Watt discussed how ultra high level sects have controlled the course of history to a pre-determined goal and are still in power. Currently, the agenda of the group he referred to as the Illuminati is a kind of “world planning” in which the population would be massively cut back in order to create a more pristine environment for the 500 million or so that remain.

This might be achieved by a “scientific dictatorship” denying food to countries that overpopulate, he outlined, and chaos installed by pandemics, quakes and war, that would ready a populace for control by a “new world order.” Among those behind such plans, he pointed towards the upper echelon of societies such as the Rosicrucians and the Freemasons, the Rhodes Foundation, futurist think tanks and the creators of the Project for the New American Century.

Ultimately the Illuminati seek to create a new clone type, hermaphroditic in nature, that could replicate itself on space journeys, and eliminate the need for women, Watt suggested. To fight back, people should inform themselves from the available data and bombard their politicians to put a stop to such plans, he said.

Study, in a First, Explains Evolution’s Molecular Advance

The team recreated the ancestral receptor in the laboratory and found that it could bind to the kidney regulating hormone, aldosterone and the stress hormone, cortisol.

Thus, it turned out that the receptor for aldosterone existed before aldosterone. Aldosterone is found just in land animals, which appeared tens of millions of years later.

“It had a different function and was exploited to take part in a new complex system when the hormone came on the scene,” Dr. Thornton said.

What happened was that a glitch produced two copies of the receptor gene in the animal’s DNA, a not-uncommon occurrence in evolution. Then, for reasons not understood, two major mutations made one receptor sensitive just to cortisol, leading to the modern version of the stress hormone receptor. The other receptor became specialized for kidney regulation.

Dr. Thornton said the experiments showed how evolution could and did innovate functions over time. “I think this is likely to be a very common theme in how complex molecular systems evolved,” he said.

The Jesus of the Cults and religions

Another Jesus

Today’s new spirituality does include Jesus, but he is not the Jesus of Scripture. He is another Jesus who is appreciated by mystics and Gnostics alike. He is accepted by the other religions as a great teacher, an enlightened spiritual master, but not the Son of God, God in the flesh, the only Savior from our sins, and only way to the Father. He needs to be something other than the bibles Jesus to be accepted by the masses.

The primary guru of the New Age Movement, Dr. Carl Gustav Jung, taught that the “Christ archetype” could be activated and encountered via active imagination or visualization. People today choose Jesus to be their spirit-guide. As they visualize him, he speaks to them and gives them wisdom and guidance. They claim, “I follow the words of Jesus.”

The Jehovah’s Witnesses also have another Jesus, one who is an angel who became a man

The Mormons Jesus is similar in that he is also an angel. A Spirit child of Elohim who is in the class of Spirit. He is the Spirit brother of the Lucifer who became the Devil. That we all were the same in spirit in our preexistence on earth before we embodied. Mormonism (Joseph Smith): “Christ is the firstborn spirit Son in the eternal family, and while yet in pre-existence he advanced and progressed and became like the Father in power and intelligence; that is, he became a God.”“

It has become increasingly important to see that those who claim to be Christian or represent God are presenting to their followers another Jesus. These are only a few references as a guideline of what the Bible teaches.

What the Scripture (the bible) says He will be- “And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace” (Isa. 9:6). Jer.23:5-6: “.. I will raise to David a branch of righteousness; ... His name by which He will be called THE LORD (Yahweh) OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.” Isa.63:8 God speaking, “so He became their Savior.”

What did Jesus say of himself-John 8:23 And He said to them, “You are from beneath; I AM from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.” “Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM”( John 8:58). Jn.5:18, “He said God was his Father, making himself equal with God. “And Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!” John 20:28. John 10:14-16: “I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep”, David said in Ps.23 The Lord (God/ Yahweh) is my shepherd. Later in jn.10 Jesus states of His sheep “they follow Me and I give them eternal life.”

What did the disciples teach that he said- ”and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us. John 1:2-3 He was in the beginning with God 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.”

1 Pt.1:1 “ our God and savior Jesus Christ.” Titus 2:13 Jesus is called “our great God and Savior.” Col 1:16-17: “For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.”1 Tim.3:16 “God was manifested in the flesh.”

No other person has been opinionated by the religious community, not Buddha, nor Mohammed nor Krishna. Why the various opinions? It’s a life or death matter when it comes to the one called the Son of God. Everyone will need to make a decision on who he is. Unfortunately many deny what He said and the apostles taught of Him.

A.R.E Association for Research and Enlightenment (Edgar Cayce): “He is an ensample [example] for man, and only as a man, for He lived only as a man, He died as man.”( Association for Research and Enlightenment Edgar Cayce, reading no. 900-10 from Circulating file: Jesus the Pattern and You, p. 53.) Edgar Cayce-”Q. `When did the knowledge come to Jesus that he was to be the savior of the world? “A. `When he fell in Eden… In Adam, he brought sin,‘“ (Psychic Healing, p. 75).

The Bahai Faith (The Bab; Baha’u‘llah): “Jesus was not the only-begotten Son of God come down from Heaven, crucified and resurrected, nor the unique Saviour. Firuz Kazemzeden World Order summer 1978 p.39 the national spiritual assembly of the bahai’s of the United states) Was Christ within god, or God within Christ ? No in the name of God. “ (Abdul Baha Questions p. 97) Many Christians are surprised to find that a new messenger from God has already come, saying that he is the return of Christ.” (The Return of Christ p. 4 1978 Bahai publishing trust)

Islam- Sura 43:59 “Jesus was no more than a mortal whom Allah favored and made an example to the Israelites. They are unbelievers who say God is Messiah, Mary’s son.” Surat al Nisa 4:157-158 “And because of their saying: we slew the messiah Jesus son of Mary. Allahs messenger-they slew him not nor crucified- Sura 43:59

Church Universal and Triumphant-Mark and Elizabeth Prophet “The Christ Self, then, has communication with the Father who in both Principle and Person is the Presence of God, the 1 AM THAT 1 AM, or the 1 AM Presence.” (Mysteries of the Holy Grail Arch angel Gabriel p.217) the Prophets explain, “Jesus was both the actual and symbolical representative of this Christ Self. Jesus was the example. the one who self-realized the Christ Mind and was at one with It at all times. Jesus himself was not the only begotten Son of the Father. The Christ of him was and is the only begotten Son of the Father “ (The Lost Teachings of Jesus p. 241).

Eckankar (Paul Twitchell): “do not put Him [Jesus] in a special category, for all saviours and prophets who came to earth to help mankind did their part arid passed on to the glory of the heavenly kingdom ..

The Foundation of Human understanding The Foundation of Human understanding (Roy Masters): -you must not have any concepts of what Christ is like or God is like. it all must be an inward revelation process-” (Roy Masters (tape), -The Mystery of Golgotha.

The Gurdjieff Foundation (Gurdfieff): -[In a conversation] ... Gurdjieff said: ‘I hate your Jesus, poor Jewish boy’-the emphasis being on’ your.‘“’ (C S. Nott Teachings of Gurdjieff. A Pupil’s Journal 1978, p. 103

Course in miracles- (Helen Schucman) “Jesus is a man, who is like all other men, and the Christ idea, which all men possess and must eventually demonstrated. He becomes the pattern for all of us. Jesus the man was used by the Christ to demonstrate the illusion of the world.”...Jesus became what all of you must be. ...Is he the Christ? O yes, along with you. ...Is he God’s only Helper? No, indeed. For Christ takes many forms with different names…” (pp. 83-84).”The Son of God … is not Jesus but our combined Christ consciousness. . .”The name Jesus refers to one who was a man but who saw the face of Christ in all his brothers…. So he became identified with Christ, a man no longer at one with God.”

The Masons- Manly Hall who started the Masons refers to Jesus as “The Solar Diety’ Jesus of Nazareth had attained a level of consciousness, of perfection, that has been called by various names: cosmic consciousness, soul regeneration, philosophic initiation, spiritual illumination, Brahmic Splendor, Christ-consciousness. Shroud of Turin wrongly condemned/ Believes dating scientifically flawed, linen could be burial cloth of Jesus

A new book says the controversial Shroud of Turin – said to bear the image of the crucified Jesus Christ – has been wrongly condemned as a fraud and desecrated due to serious errors in its study and conservation.

“The Rape of the Turin Shroud – how Christianity’s most precious relic was wrongly condemned, and violated,” by William Meacham, contends the shroud was dismissed as a medieval fake by the general public after poorly planned Carbon-14 dating in 1988.

The linen also suffered major damage in 2002 through what Meacham calls an ill-advised and secretly executed restoration “conducted for cosmetic and misguided conservation purposes.”

The author points out that in the early 1980s, the shroud was at the pinnacle of its prestige, as a considerable number of academics and scientists thought it could be the burial cloth of Christ.

But that perception changed almost overnight with the announcement in 1988 that Carbon-14 dating had placed the origin of the cloth at about A.D. 1260-1390.

Meacham insists, however, the relic was wrongly condemned, because the dating methodology was poorly planned, marred by petty rivalries and scientifically flawed.

He finds it remarkable that a second sample was never run to confirm the dating. From studies done in the last 10 years, the author asserts, it appears very likely the dating is invalid and the shroud is much older.

It could actually be Christ’s burial cloth after all, the author says, but for unknown reasons, authorities at Turin and with the Catholic Church have refused requests for a new Carbon-14 measurement.

As WorldNetDaily reported in 2000, in the decade after the measurement, additional evidence called into question the process of carbon dating on certain materials – textiles in particular.

And a relic known as the Sudarium of Oviedo, believed to be the other linen cloth found in the tomb of Christ, also has been used as evidence of the shroud’s authenticity.

The author Meacham says the “restoration” in 2002 resulted in the loss of valuable scientific data as materials were taken from the cloth without stringent controls.

Repairs dating from 1534 that constituted part of the shroud’s visual heritage were removed, he points out.

The attempt to restore the shroud was done in secret, without peer review, he added, and “engineered by an opportunistic clique around the archbishop of Turin.” The effort has been condemned by most shroud researchers as a conservation and scientific disaster, he said, as the relic and its study have been altered forever.

Fr. Peter Rinaldi of the Holy Shroud Guild said he found a paper Meacham did on his assertions to be “complete, lucid, cogent, one of the finest presentations I have ever read on the subject.”

Shroud researchers Joe Marino and Sue Benford of Dublin, Ohio, said the new book shows how politics is playing a “significant role in Jesus’ putative burial cloth.”

Los Angeles-based photographer and webmaster of shroud.com Barrie Schwortz, who believes the shroud is authentic, said Meacham gives a “frank and often critical accounting of what he calls the ‘desecration’ of the Shroud of Turin. ... From its provocative title to its stinging criticisms of the shroud’s custodians, this book was sure to spark controversy … it also reveals a side of [shroud research] seldom seen by the general public.”

DNA’s Dark Side

MOTHERS EXPECT DAMIEN ON 6/6/06

FOR one group of expectant mothers, their due date holds an extra dimension of dread. The prospect of giving birth on June 6, 6/6/06, has prompted talk of spawning devil children on Armageddon day.
A British self-help group that usually exchanges routine tips on parenting has turned its attention to the dangers of a date marked by the satanic symbol.

For Hollywood and the worldwide entertainment industry it is by contrast a once-in-a- century opportunity to turn evil into gold. Leading the charge is 20th Century Fox, whose remake of The Omen, the classic 1970s horror film, will appear on June 6.

The approach of the sixth day of the sixth month of a new century’s sixth year has prompted animated discussion among women participating in the website of Mother & Baby, a British parenting magazine.

One pregnant woman, Francesca Renouf, said she had been so worried that she had booked a doctor’s appointment to ensure that she would avoid giving birth on the sixth.

Others appeared to take the dangers less seriously. One woman, Emma Parker, wrote that she intends to call her baby Damien, after the satanic boy in The Omen. Another, Donna Magnante, said she would name her baby after Regan in The Exorcist.

In America the marketing of the apocalypse is well under way. Slayer, one of America’s most popular heavy metal rock groups, will start its Unholy Alliance tour, subtitled Preaching to the Perverted.

Crown Forum, a US publishing giant, has seized on 666 as the perfect date for the launch of Godless, a new anti-liberal political polemic by Ann Coulter, a prominent right-wing columnist.

And inevitably the internet is awash with frenzied doomsday debate and 666 speculation, all reflecting America’s continuing obsession with angels, devils and the possible nature of heaven and hell.

While some Armageddon believers fear that 6/6/06 will be “a day of satanic power” that may be marked by a comet hitting the Earth, others believe that the world is coming closer to what is widely known as “the rapture” — the moment the Lord calls the Christian faithful home and millions of born-again evangelicals will suddenly disappear from the Earth, leaving non-believers behind.

On one popular evangelical website last week, a “rapture index” that calculates the likelihood of the Lord’s arrival stood at 156 — which the website declared was time to “fasten your seatbelts”. By contrast, another website claimed that the Antichrist had already arrived — he is supposedly George (six letters) Walker (six letters) Bush Jr (six letters), the president whose name adds up to 666. “The violence and destruction that began when Bush first entered office is now certain to culminate in the apocalypse, as predicted in the Bible over 2,000 years ago,” warned Stephen Hanchett at isbushantichrist.blogspot.com.

The 666 phenomenon is based on a disputed passage from the Book of Revelation, which in several popular versions declares the “number of the beast” to be 666 — although some biblical scholars claim there was a mistranslation and the number should really be 616.

Either way, John Moore, the Irish director of The Omen remake — entitled Omen 666 — realised that June 6 was too good a date to miss for a film about a sinister child named Damien who turns out to be the Antichrist. “It’s a fantastic marketing gimmick,” Moore said. “We figured if we could hit this date it would make it all the more interesting.”

The only devils in Coulter’s book are abortion-loving Democrats, but that hasn’t stopped her publisher making the most of 666. Coulter, a tall blonde with a mean anti-liberal streak, is the bestselling author of How to Talk to a Liberal (If You Must).

Her new book, subtitled The Church of Liberalism, is reportedly even more bilious, with chapters such as “On the seventh day God rested and Liberals schemed”, and “The holiest sacrament: abortion

THE HUMAN (*Patent pending*) . . .

Are we next? Why isn’t anything being done to stop this? Where will this end?

OR IS IT THE END?

The Monsanto Pig (Patent pending) . . . The patent applications were published in February 2005 at the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) in Geneva. A Greenpeace researcher who monitors patent applications, Christoph Then, uncovered the fact that Monsanto is seeking patents not only on methods of breeding, but on actual breeding herds of pigs as well as the offspring that result. “If these patents are granted, Monsanto can legally prevent breeders and farmers from breeding pigs whose characteristics are described in the patent claims, or force them to pay royalties,” says Then. “It’s a first step toward the same kind of corporate control of an animal line that Monsanto is aggressively pursuing with various grain and vegetable lines.”

Neanderthal Yields Nuclear DNA

Neanderthal yields nuclear DNA Neanderthals died out about 29,000 years ago The first sequences of nuclear DNA to be taken from a Neanderthal have been reported at a US science meeting. Geneticist Svante Paabo and his team say they isolated the long segments of genetic material from a 45,000-year-old Neanderthal fossil from Croatia. The work should reveal how closely related the Neanderthal species was to modern humans, Homo sapiens. Details were presented at a conference at New York’s Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory and reported by News@Nature. It is a significant advance on previous research that has extracted mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA)...

DNA EVIDENCE FOR ATLANTIS

Unfortunately, Will’s site doesn’t seem to work (at least for me) so I’m posting the whole message as it’s rather interesting.

DNA evidence for Atlantis

Beyond the Bering Strait
DNA Evidence Rocks the Boat
By Will Hart

Article received from Light Eye

In recent years, genetic research has produced unexpected results that have opened the doors to many historical mysteries. The surprising outcomes have also provoked unintended controversy. The reasons that these DNA investigations have sparked intense debates in the fields of anthropology, history and even cultural evolution will become clear as our story unfolds.

The genetic probes began innocently enough with geneticists wanting to see what secrets human genes might reveal about our complex, mysterious and often disputed history. Anthropologists and historians had long thought that the America’s had been populated by Asians crossing a land bridge that connected Asia and North America during the last Ice Age. This was referred to as the ‘Bering Strait Crossing’ theory and was believed to have occurred about 12,000 years ago.

Genetic analysis on Native American DNA samples began in the 1980s. However, the research effort greatly accelerated in the 1990s due to rapid technological progress in the field. In fact, the early results confirmed the generally accepted theory showing a clear link between Native Americans and DNA samples collected from native peoples in Siberian-Asia. Nevertheless, as the studies both deepened and broadened to include Asians across the continent, the increasing data revealed that the migration pattern had been more complex than anthropologist’s had envisioned.

The early results showed that Native American tribes were comprised of four distinct mtDNA haplogroups, A, B, C, and D. The haplogroup designations represent four different (maternal) lineages. These four lineages are found throughout North, Central and South America. However, only three of them A, C, and D were discovered in the Siberian-Asian populations. The B haplogroup was traced to aboriginal population groups in Southeast Asia, China, Japan, Melanesia, and Polynesia.

Before proceeding we should briefly clarify what mtDNA is. There are two types of genetic material used for analysis, cellular and mtDNA, the latter is found in human mitochondia outside the nucleus of cells and is only transferred down generations through females, hence mtDNA stands for maternal DNA. This type is simpler than the cellular DNA and it evolves faster,so it is used to distinguish human groups that evolved in separate geographic areas.

In historical terms, what the genetic evidence obtained from mtDNA samples translated into was a much more diverse and complex migration pattern that included people arriving to the America’s in boats. Thor Heyerdahl had hypothesized that this was the case by showing that it was possible during his Kon Tiki expeditions across the Pacific Ocean to Peru.

While orthodox anthropologists embraced the results of the earliest DNA findings, the later results caused consternation and controversy. They not only showed that the Americas were settled by many different racial groups coming from many different parts of Asia, the genetic findings also demonstrated that the migration events took place much earlier than previously thought.

Anthropologists, archaeologists and historians had postulated that the migrations had taken place less than 20,000 years ago. DNA analysis placed the initial wave of migration at between 38-50,000 years before present. This finding too raised eyebrows in the orthodox community. However, in recent years radiocarbon dated materials from South America, California and the Southwestern United States has come to light and the dates agree with the conclusions of the DNA research.

Clearly, the genetic investigations had produced a mixed bag of outcomes for orthodox anthropologists and historians. In general, their long held theories about a north Asian origin for Native American populations were proven correct. Nevertheless, their narrow focus on Siberia, the single land-bridge migration route and their chronology had been in error. Some of the Asian immigrants did come from Siberia along that route but other groups came from Japan, Polynesia, etc., in boats and their journeys began in remote antiquity.

Genetic researchers determined that 96% of Native Americans fell into one of the four A-D haplogroups and while these mtDNA types were also found in Asia they are not present in Europe or Africa. This too indicates that Asia was the ancestral region of most Native American tribes. Then in 1997 another lineage was discovered, which geneticists dubbed X. This discovery ignited a storm of controversy that has not died down to this day. The X haplogroup needs careful, thoughtful, and deep historical analysis because this group may well hold one of the most important keys to unlocking the secrets of our collective past.

Obviously about 4 percent of Native Americans, from Alaska to the tip of South America, do not fall into one of the four major haplogroups. Scientists assumed that these minority lineages came from interactions with European and African groups since the time of Columbus. This proved to be true for about 1.5% of Native Americans however 2.5% were found to belong to the X lineage. Once this small mtDNA group was identified as a distinct genetic type, the race was on to ascertain their place of origin.

This is where the mystery really gets complicated and interesting. In spite of the fact that the previous genetic data was forcing the orthodoxy to make some alterations in their migration scheme and chronology, as we saw their basic paradigm had been confirmed. But the discovery of the X haplogroup changed that situation dramatically. It was known to exist in Europe in about 5% of the population and unknown in Asia and Africa at the time. The X lineage was ascertained to have arrived in the Americas from about 38,000 to 10,000 years ago. What could this mean?

At first anthropologists argued that since Europeans had not traveled across the Atlantic at such a remote point in time the X group had to be the outcome of post Columbus contact and intermarriage. However when researchers analyzed ancient DNA samples, found in the Great Lakes (Mound Builder) region, which dated back long before Columbus they identified some of the samples as belonging to the X group. This proved they were not the outcome of any post-Columbus contact and were not of recent origin.

When investigators compiled the genetic data on the distribution of the X haplogroup in the America’s what they discovered sent shock waves through the conventional and alternative history camps. The X lineage was only found in a handful of tribes scattered across the country, the Yakima and Sioux in the northwest and the Navajo in the southwest, in about 5% of their populations. However, the greatest concentrations by far occurred in the Ojibway, Oneota and Nuu-Chah-Nulth tribes where almost 25% of the tribal members fell into the X lineage.

Moreover, the vast majority of tribes contained no X members. In fact, it was not found in any native tribes in Central or South America. Again, what did these patterns mean? Independent researchers associated with the Edgar Cayce Association (A.R.E.) quickly pointed out that the data supported some of the material found in the Atlantis readings that the ‘sleeping prophet’ had given in the 1930s. Cayce noted that some Atlantis refugees had immigrated to the northeastern region of the United States and later formed the Iroquois nation. It was in those tribes that the highest concentration of the X haplogroup was found.

The Cayce readings also claimed that some of these refugees went to the American southwest and others migrated to the Mound Builder region and formed that civilization. Odd that his psychic information would so closely parallel the distribution pattern of the X lineage. Cayce had also given the dates that these migrations had occurred and they too agreed with the DNA findings. The plot was surely thickening in a most fascinating way. If the story stopped here it would be enough to hold interest and provoke thought however it goes farther, much farther.

The apparent widespread presence of the X lineage across what is now known as the United States appears to show a wide initial dispersal. One could postulate a west-east migration of this haplogroup from Siberian Asia. But that scenario poses two serious obstacles:1) the greatest concentration of this group is found in the northeastern region of the United States and 2) X is virtually absent in Asia.

Like a good detective novel, all of the clues had not been uncovered in the late 1990s when the X group had been identified and was being hotly debated. Geneticists pressed forward and launched a probe into the Altai tribe located in the Gobi desert and found the X lineage in small numbers. This is the only population in Asia that exhibits this haplogroup and as such they comprise a tiny, isolated genetic island. Orthodox anthropologists were elated when the news reached their ears. They seized on this finding as smoking gun proof that the X group in North America had its ancestral roots in Siberian Asia, end of story.

To say that this was an unscientific rush to a final conclusion that just happened to agree with their long held beliefs is an understatement. Let us pause and use logic and commonsense and try to walk through what we are being asked to accept. The Gobi Desert is about 8,000 miles from the northeastern section of the United States. We are being told that this tribe trekked that distance and transferred their genes from their ancestral homeland to the Great Lakes without depositing the X group genes in any other part of Asia, Alaska, Canada, and the region between Washington and the Northeast America.

Everyone agrees that any such migration would have taken place during the harshest of conditions since the Ice Age still held this entire region in its frigid grip. Furthermore, we are being asked to suspend our disbelief raised by the notion that a tiny tribe trekked these vast distances across a frozen landscape for unknown reasons. Why would any small tribe risk everything and wander half way around the globe during an ice age when they did not know what lay beyond the next horizon? In fact, anthropologists and historians know that this is not the way human tribes have operated since the dawn of time.

On February 16, 1932 Cayce related some information during a reading that is extraordinarily cogent to this unfolding genetic mystery story. When asked about the position of the continent of Atlantis he replied:

“The position the continent Atlantis occupied, is that as between the Gulf of Mexico on the one hand – and the Mediterranean upon the other. Evidences of this lost civilization are to be found in the Pyrenees and Morocco on the one hand, British Honduras, Yucatan and America upon the other.”

Now, we must pick up the trail of clues on the other side of the Atlantic. Let us keep in mind that when Cayce gave this reading DNA had not yet been discovered and there was no such thing as mtDNA analysis. Nevertheless, he mentioned “evidences” in two specific locales, the Pyrenees, a mountain range sandwiched in between France and Spain where the Basques live, and Morocco where another ancient group, the Berbers resides. Astonishingly, these two populations contain the highest frequencies of the X lineage found in Europe and North Africa.

The Basques have long puzzled anthropologists, linguists and historians because, although they are Caucasian they do not fit in with the rest of the European populations. Their language is not related to any other tongue in the world. Prior to the advent of genetic research tools investigators used the ABO blood groups to study the relationships between human populations as well as their migration patterns. The Basques turned out to be unique in terms of blood types as well. As a population they contain the highest levels of Rh- ‘O’ negative blood in the world and among the lowest type B.

Now, what Cayce was suggesting is that some of the people that fled the sinking continent went west and settled and became the Iroquois. Others went east to the Iberian Peninsula then the Pyrenees (Basques), and the West Coast of North Africa then the Atlas Mountains (Berbers). Turning to the Berbers we find yet another group that contains the highest frequency of haplogroup X in the world. Is it a coincidence that these disparate peoples share a very rare mtDNA lineage?

It is unfortunate that the Berbers have never received much attention from science over the years. Here we have a Caucasian race living in North Africa of all places. Anthropologists dismissed them because they did not fit well into the ‘Out of Africa’ scenario and it was assumed that they had back immigrated southward from somewhere in Europe. However, that theory has been abandoned and scientists now accept the fact that they are an indigenous people, which they believe go back to the Stone Age. But how can this be we must ask since the rest of the continent below the Sahara is black African?

The Admiral pointed to the huge door to the left of us. We walked over to it. There was a smaller door cut into the huge door. There was a button to be pressed. The Admiral pressed it. “Why are we here?” I asked

The King of the World wants to meet you,” The Admiral replied sarcastically.

We entered a room that looked like a museum. The glass cases where the treasures were kept were incredibly low. I am only 5 feet tall, but the cases were so low that I had to stoop over to see what was in them.

Most of what was there had the Templar cross on it somewhere. At the time, I can remember thinking, “so this is where all the missing treasures are.” The only thing I can really remember seeing and recognizing is the Crown of St. Stephen.

A door at the end of the room opened, and a man, about 5 feet eight inches tall entered. He had white hair and was wearing glasses with thick black rims. He was wearing a light blue shirt with an emblem on it. It was the compass from the CIA logo, stitched in dark blue.

He dismissed the Admiral as if the Admiral were a busboy. He then put his arm around me and led me out the door from which he had come. To the right of me I saw a mess hall filled with hundreds of people. To the left, I saw a long hall. The King of the World had his arm around my shoulders as we walked down the long hall. He was talking to me the entire time. I cannot remember what he said.

And I do not remember anything more than the walk down the long hall, with many doors. The floor was gray linoleum tile. And that is the last thing I remember from my meeting with the King of the World. One thing I did recall very clearly, and it was my only real proof that something had happened to me. The rash I have does not tan. If you have a tan, and then get the proper treatment to cure the rash, there will be a white spot in the middle of you tan, where the rash used to be. When I awakened from my missing time, there was a white spot where the rash used to be. I guess Roger treated the rash with the appropriate medicine before he injected me with whatever he gave me. Gunther later told me that I was privilege to too many top secret conversations on Offutt, and all they were doing was putting in a block so I wouldn’t remember anything. I do remember a lot of the conversations that happened at Offutt. While I was there, I had the feeling of being in a spy movie. For some reason, I remembered an old film I had seen as a child. I believe John Wayne was the star. It was about a soldier who was captured by the North Koreans during the Korean War and was subjected to brainwashing. He had a book a matches with him, and he wrote key things inside the book so they would jog his memory and keep him focused on what was really going on. I decided to do the same thing. I figured the only time I was safe was when I was in the stall in the ladies room. I remember telling Gunther that I had a urinary tract infection and it kept me going to the bathroom all the time. I heard him tell this to someone who became suspicious as to why I kept excusing myself and going to the ladies room. Even in the ladies room I wasn’t really sure if anyone could see what I was doing. So I would bend over my purse, as if hunting for something, and I would write short keyword notes to myself, on scraps of chewing gum wrappers, receipts, or anything else that was at the bottom of my purse. I wrote this while my hands were inside my purse.

DNA-UNIVERSAL MESSAGE FROM GOD?

We are survival machines-robot vehicles blindly programmed to preserve the selfish molecules known as genes. This is a truth which still fills me with astonishment.” – Richard Dawkins

“So unless God created life elsewhere, we are alone, and for the materialistic evolutionist, this is a frightening thought.” – Raymond G Bohlin

The book of Genesis begins like this “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep and the spirit of god was hovering over the waters”. The earth that we lived in was once a mass of formless, uninhibited and lifeless ball hanging loosely somewhere in a dark corner of the space. Then the sun appeared and emitted through its radiance enormous energy-loaded packets of life in the form of sunlight. The sun became the source of energy and survival kit for life forms ever since. Then a new era had just begun since the earth was now well equipped.

Professor Raymond G Bohlin had stated in one of his article that over the last two decades scientists have begun tabulating many characteristics of our universe, galaxy, solar system, and planet that appear to have been finely tuned for life to exist. Christian astronomer and apologist, Dr. Hugh Ross documents all these characteristics in his book Creator and the Cosmos and is constantly updating them.

DNA ties UM prof to Genghis Khan

A British research firm recently combed 25,000 DNA samples searching for a modern descendant of Genghis Khan from outside the Mongolian warlord’s ancient empire.

They found the first one: a University of Miami accounting professor with a receding hairline.

Tom Robinson, a 48-year-old Palmetto Bay resident, has taken the odd news with amiable modesty. In some quarters, he’s being treated like the guy who walks into a store and finds out he’s the millionth customer. The Mongolian ambassador to the United States plans to invite him as an honored guest to his Washington embassy.

They’re an unlikely pair, the emperor and the accountant. Genghis was known as the type of guy who would conquer villages across two continents, murder entire tribes and take thousands of female partners. Robinson, on the other hand, just returned from a cruise to Alaska with his wife of 25 years.

‘‘I think I do have a certain number of administrative skills,’‘ Robinson said, noting he was once president of a local financial analyst society. ``I haven’t done any conquering, per se.’‘

Despite their disparate lifestyles, the link is backed by strong genetic evidence, according to Bryan Sykes, an Oxford University geneticist who conducted the research for his private company, Oxford Ancestors. Robinson’s Y chromosome bears seven of nine genetic markers identical to the Genghis genetic signature — remarkably close considering the two men lived more than 700 years apart, Sykes said.

The Genghis genetic mark was discovered in 2003 by a group of 23 international geneticists, who found that 8 percent of all males in large parts of Asia carry startlingly similar genetic markers. Those markers are historically traceable to areas ruled by Genghis and his sons.

Women can only learn if they are descended from Genghis through male relatives because only men have a Y chromosome.

No one has tested Genghis’ actual DNA because his tomb has never been found. Though Genghis is believed to have 16 million Asian descendants, Robinson is the first Caucasian linked to the 13th century marauder, Sykes said.

The history of the world from Genghis Khan to Tom Robinson begins with a sexual appetite rivaled only by boastful basketball legend Wilt Chamberlain.

‘‘With every people who he conquered, [Genghis Khan] set up a large harem, and he took as many women as he wanted,’‘ said Nicholas Wade, a New York Times writer who recently published Before the Dawn, a book on recent human evolution that devotes a chapter to the Genghis genetic phenomenon.

Wade points out that 13th century Persian historian ‘Ata-Malik Juvaini claimed Genghis fathered 20,000 children in an empire stretching from Eastern Europe to China. Among the Hazara tribe along the Pakistan and Afghanistan borders — a group that has long claimed they were Genghis’ descendants — 30 percent of all men bear his genetic mark, according to the groundbreaking 2003 study called The Genetic Legacy of the Mongols, published by the American Society of Human Genetics.

But how did those genes make it to Robinson’s ancestral home in England’s bucolic Lake District near the Scottish border?

That remains a mystery. It’s possible Robinson’s ancestors traveled from the Ukraine — the edge of the Mongol empire — on Viking slave ships, Sykes said. But he admits that’s mere conjecture.

‘‘It’s a very good demonstration of how we all have a mixed ancestry,’‘ Sykes said. ``We don’t think we do, but we do.’‘

Genetics are big business for Sykes, who wrote a bestselling book called The Seven Daughters of Eve, which fueled an international interest in genetic familial ties. He has attracted 25,000 male customers and even more females since he founded Oxford Ancestors in 2001.

For $320, Sykes tells customers which ancient tribes they may be linked to, based on genetic markers. For example, many Irish trace their lineage to the High Kings of Ireland who made their living taking hostages, he said.

Customers swab their mouths and send away for results. The Genghis genetic analysis was not part of the program when Robinson sent his DNA in early 2003. Robinson had been researching his family and had read Sykes’ book.

His initial report suggested a possible link with Central Europeans, but Robinson had many unanswered questions. Since then, Sykes began looking for more Genghis descendants among previous clients.

Last month, one of Sykes’ assistants left word on Robinson’s answering machine that he had some special news about Robinson’s ancestry.

‘My first reaction was, `Oh God, who is it? Who would be the worst?’ ‘’ Robinson said.

Robinson was pleased to learn it was Genghis Khan and has since read more about his long-lost ancestor.

‘‘I have a little more respect for him now than simply a Mongol warlord,’‘ Robinson said. ``Of course, I’m biased now that I’m related to him.’‘

In fact, many historians have put in a good word for Genghis in recent years, painting his vast empire as progressive.

The ruler’s enemies did a lot to sully his reputation in earlier years, said John Woods, a University of Chicago historian who has been searching for Genghis’ tomb in Mongolia for a decade. In addition to destroying enemy tribes, Genghis espoused religious tolerance and created a free trade zone, Woods said.

Mongolia is now celebrating the 800th anniversary of the empire, and much of the world has been swept up in a bit of Genghis-mania.

Robinson is the first to admit there are probably many more descendants of Genghis, of all races. He plans to travel to Mongolia in the near future to meet his brethren.

‘‘Maybe I have a yak and a couple of acres of land somewhere coming to me,’‘ he said.

Intelligent design on another planet?

Imagine finding a planet where robots are programmed so that they can make other robots just like themselves from raw materials.

Now, imagine an alien visitor coming to the planet and, after many years of studying these robots, coming to the conclusion that since science can explain how these robots work, function, and reproduce there’s no reason to believe that there was an ultimate intelligent designer behind them.

The analogy above certainly is not perfect but it is sufficient to reveal the fallacious thinking of those who attack intelligent design behind life and the universe.

Chance physical processes can produce some level of order but it is not rational to believe that the highest levels of order in life and the universe are by chance. For example, amino acids have been shown to be able to come into existence by chance but not more complex structures such as proteins which require that the various amino acids be in a precise sequence, just like the letters in a sentence. A single cell has millions of proteins.

There is no innate chemical tendency for amino acids to bond with one another in a sequence. Any one amino acid can just as easily bond with any other. The only reason at all for why the various amino acids bond with one another in a precise sequence in the cells of our bodies is because they’re directed to do so by an already existing sequence of molecules in our genetic code. Without being in a proper sequence protein molecules will not function.

The sequence of molecules in DNA (the genetic code) determines the sequence of molecules in proteins. Furthermore, without DNA there cannot be RNA, but without RNA there cannot be DNA. And without eiether DNA and RNA there cannot be proteins, and without proteins there cannot be either DNA or RNA. They’re all mutually dependent upon each other for existence!

If humans must use intelligence to perform genetic engineering, to meaningfully manipulate the genetic code, then what does that say about the origin of the genetic code itself!

If the cell had evolved it would have had to be all at once. A partially evolved cell cannot wait millions of years to become complete because it would be highly unstable and quickly disintegrate in the open environment.

The great British scientist Sir Frederick Hoyle has said that the probability of the sequence of molecules in the simplest cell coming into existence by chance is equivalent to a tornado going through a junk yard of airplane parts and assembling a 747 Jumbo Jet!

Considering the enormous complexity of life, it is much more logical to believe that the genetic and biological similarities between all species is due to a common Designer rather than common biological ancestry. It is only logical that the great Designer would design similar functions for similar purposes and different functions for different purposes in all of the various forms of life.

What if we should find evidence of life on Mars? Wouldn’t that prove evolution? No. It wouldn’t be proof that such life had evolved from non-living matter by chance natural processes. And even if we did find evidence of life on Mars it would have most likely have come from our very own planet – Earth! In the Earth’s past there was powerful volcanic activity which could have easily spewed dirt containing microbes into outer space which eventually could have reached Mars. A Newsweek article of September 21, 1998, p.12 mentions exactly this possibility.

Contrary to popular belief, scientists have never created life in the laboratory. What scientists have done is genetically alter or engineer already existing forms of life, and by doing this scientists have been able to produce new forms of life. However, they did not produce these new life forms from non-living matter. Even if scientists ever do produce life from non-living matter it won’t be by chance so it still wouldn’t help support any argument for evolution.

We also know from the law of entropy in science that the universe does not have the ability to have sustained itself from eternity. The existence and complexity of the universe point to a Supreme Designer and Creator!

Those advocating the teaching of intelligent design are not demanding that Darwinian theory no longer be taught. Rather, the advocates of intelligent design want the merits of both theories taught side by side when the issue of origins is covered in science classes and textbooks. This is only fair.

Science cannot prove we are here by either design (creation) or by chance (evolution), but students should have full information available to decide which position science best supports.

What we believe about life’s origins does influence our philosophy and value of life as well as our view of ourselves and others. This is no small issue!

Just because the laws of science can explain how life and the universe operate and work doesn’t mean there is no Maker. Would it be rational to believe that there’s no designer behind airplanes because the laws of science can explain how airplanes operate and work?

Natural laws are adequate to explain how the order in life, the universe, and even a microwave oven operates, but mere undirected natural laws cannot fully explain the origin of such order.

How to Make Your Very Own Jesus

For ages, people have found Jesus to be an uncomfortable figure. He claimed honors belonging properly only to God (John 5:22, 23), held Himself out as the only solution for sin (Matthew 20:28), and accepted worship as God (John 20:28). What’s even more threatening, He backed up these claims by a succession of unequaled miracles (John 15:24), climaxing in His own bodily resurrection (Matthew 12:39, 40).

Like many of Jesus’ other ideas, these claims are clearly “incorrect,” politically and socially. Worse still, they’re unpopular!

Not to worry! If you don’t like the Jesus of the Bible, you can make your very own “Jesus.” Here’s how to do it, in six easy steps.

Begin with demolition work. First, paint the Gospels as fundamentally unreliable, unhistorical, and biased. Now, this will mean rough going, for several reasons. If you are to pull this off, your audience has to be unaware of the last hundred years of New Testament (NT) studies. Otherwise, they will know that every attempt to discredit the NT has failed miserably. They will remember that archeological, linguistic, and historical studies have systematically shown the NT to be factually reliable in every testable area. If they know the facts, it could hurt your theories. So. . . .

Second, flash some impressive academic degrees. This might inspire people to reason thus: “He must be right – after all, he’s a [doctor, professor, what-have-you]!” Pull this off, and you can wave aside the Gospel histories as “biased.” With your degree, your hearers will forget that you, too, are biased. They won’t wonder too loudly what your biases are. They won’t even note how neatly your conclusions match your biases.

Third, stress the fact that the NT writers were believers in Jesus, as if this consideration in itself totally disqualifies them as witnesses of history. With any luck, this will strengthen your case for “bias.” Maybe only the lawyers will notice that your reasoning is akin to telling a defendant, “Now, you can only call witnesses who believe that you are guilty!” Besides, probably over half of your audience won’t remember that the NT writers did not, in fact, start out as believers. Therefore, they won’t realize that these writers’ minds were changed by the evidence. Maybe those who do remember will not throw back at you, “Then what you are saying is invalid, too, because you are a dis-believer! Bias is bias!”

Fourth, make a great deal of the fact that the Gospels were written after the events. Imply (against all evidence) that nobody in the first century ever took notes, or knew how to memorize. Your readers may be unaware that the hard evidence does not demand a date of final publication more than ten to forty years later than the resurrection. You go ahead and talk as if it were vast, yawning geological epochs later. Maybe no one will notice. So few actually read the Bible today, that they are unlikely to recall that the Gospels embody eyewitness testimony (Luke 1:1-4; John 21:24, 25). If someone brings this up, simply shout, “Are not, are not!” – and maybe wave your diploma again.

With luck, your hearers won’t reflect on the fact that they all implicitly trust in history-books written centuries, or even millennia after the events. With a lot of luck, they won’t point out that you yourself live a full two millennia after the gospel events, and that (even if true) fifty or sixty years is much closer than two thousand.

Fifth, claim to be using “the scientific method.” Actually, it doesn’t much matter what method you employ; people are not too analytical these days. Dust off the radical whimsies of nineteenth-century Tübingen, or the fantasies of Rudolph Bultmann. Shred logic to confetti. Who thinks rationally or logically today, especially about religion? You can recycle negatively-biased methods and arguments that have already been answered decisively, dozens of times, in print, for decades – as the perpetrators of the Jesus Seminar and the book The Five Gospels just did! It doesn’t matter. Simply intone, reverently, “Science…science…science,” tap your diploma meaningfully, and hope for the best.

Sixth, nuke all those nasty things Jesus said. Clear your throat and announce that He never claimed, “I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6). Proclaim that Jesus never invited anyone to “come to Me, all who labor and are heavily-burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:26). Use a little verbal “white-out” on Jesus’ predictions that He would give His soul as a ransom-price for many (Mark 10:45), that He would be crucified and buried, and would rise again on the third day (Luke 9:22), and that He would physically return to set up His kingdom on earth (Matthew 24 – 25). Declare that Jesus never really said that the one who rejects Him as God incarnate will perish in his sins (John 8:24).

You see, this way you have taken that frightening, still-living character who treads through the Gospels, and whittled Him down to something much more bite-sized. Trash the facts, and you can make Jesus into whatever you want Him to be! “Discover” that He was really an environmentalist, and declare that He only made lovely little remarks about lilies, fig trees, and grape vines. “Learn” that Jesus was a social activist, and retain only the sections about poor people. Folks will love you for it! Publishers will actually print your notions! Without any icky facts in your way, you can play with Jesus like a lump of clay!

Isn’t that nifty? Think of it: when Jesus’ contemporaries wanted Him out of the way two millennia ago, they had to have Him actually put to death. (That worked out poorly, however, since He apparently did not coöperate by staying dead.) It’s so much less messy, now!

All we have to do today is snag a degree, and write a book.

[NOTE: written as an article for a daily newspaper, skewering “the Jesus Seminar,” its pompous pronouncements, and its book The Five Gospels, by means of parody.]

Scientists playing God? We should rejoice
Minette Marrin

‘What a piece of work is a man!” as Hamlet says. “How noble in reason! How infinite in faculty! . . . In apprehension how like a god!” Usually I think rather less enthusiastically than that about humankind, but sometimes I am reminded of the nobility of man and of woman and it is often by scientists.

Last week British scientists announced a revolutionary screening process for inherited diseases in embryos. It will be quicker and more accurate than the existing method and it will detect thousands more genetic defects than previously possible.

About 200 heritable conditions can be detected by pre-implantation diagnosis in IVF treatment so that only healthy embryos are implanted in the mother or frozen; the new technique — pre-implantation genetic haplotyping — will be able to detect nearly 6,000 diseases and conditions. As one of the British pioneers said, this changes everything. One could almost call it godlike.

What it means is that thousands of parents who are at known risk of passing on terrible disabilities and diseases will now be able to have only healthy babies. This is the best news I have heard for years.

Those who don’t know about it can perhaps hardly imagine the drawn out suffering of Huntington’s disease or Duchenne muscular dystrophy or Prader-Willi syndrome or Fragile X, both for the people affected and for their families, until death puts an end to it.

Nature is astonishingly cruel. Science, by contrast, has the power of mercy. One can only be dazzled by the inventiveness and compassion of the scientists involved in this screening breakthrough — “in action”, as Hamlet said, “how like an angel!” Admittedly genetic screening means that embryos carrying disabilities and diseases will be discarded. It is a stretch, however, to use the word destroyed, or even killed, as the test is done on embryos that are only three days old. And what is appealing about this early screening is that it offers the hope that, in the foreseeable future, abortion and late abortion will be less frequently used in dealing with serious defects and disabilities.

It will be easier and better in every way to get rid of a tiny collection of cells. This is indeed playing God, as all the usual campaigners were quick to point out last week. But what on earth is wrong with humans playing God? I am all for it, especially as God doesn’t seem to be doing it. Besides, whatever we may think about playing God and defying nature, we are doing it already and even though we don’t necessarily recognise it, we approve of it.

For instance, there are many people who in the course of nature would die before they were old enough to have children. They might suffer from inherited heart defects or blood disorders that would kill them if they did not get transplants or dialysis. They might have disabilities that would kill them as newborn babies, without intervention. If properly treated these people may well live to be able to have children and some of those children will be at risk of inheriting the same problems and, in their turn, may pass them down the generations.

Eugenicists might think, and used to say publicly, that this is bad for the gene pool. Yet hardly anybody, I imagine, believes that such people should be denied treatment. It now seems absurd and cruel to suggest that people with heritable problems should not risk having children. It’s hard to imagine the intellectual climate in which Marie Stopes could oppose her son marrying a girl with the heritable defect of short sight.

It is surely the point of modern medicine to relieve suffering and restore people to as full a life as possible. If one wanted to risk sounding unfeeling and darkly Darwinist (and I don’t), one could argue that rescuing such people from extinction is also rescuing their disability from extinction — a godlike activity, surely.

Such is the miraculous power of human invention that even this problem is on the way to being solved — by the screening tests announced last week. One way of playing God has now been balanced by another, even more ingenious, human invention. That is the way of science. It mystifies me that so many people oppose it.

There will always be absolutists, who claim the right to life for even the most infinitesimal scrap of tissue. But there are others who oppose screening on what seem to me to be even more irrational grounds.

Simone Aspis of the British Council of Disabled People said last week that she was opposed in principle to such screening on the grounds that it sent the signal that being born disabled was a bad thing. The mind reels. Over the years I have got used to the disability lobby talking in this spirit, so it no longer seems as absurd as once it did, but surely it must be obvious that it would be far better for a person not to have a disability than to have one.

It would be far better to be able to walk, or hear or see than not to. It would be far better not to have a miserable fate like Huntington’s or Fragile X. In a culture where many normal girls are obsessed to the point of illness with their minor imperfections, it is surely better not to have major impairments. In that sense, being born with a disability is obviously a bad thing.

For some reason the disability lobby seems to be in denial about this, perhaps because it’s in the grip of a logical muddle. Apsis made a typical expression of it when she wondered whether the intention of the screening was to remove disabled people. It sent a message, she said, particularly to young people with disabilities, that their lives were worth less than everyone else’s. This seems to me to confuse a disability with a person with a disability. (This is a confusion that people with disabilities normally resent, understandably.)

To say that a disability is undesirable in itself is not to say that a person with that disability is undesirable in herself, or her life worth less than someone else’s. The disability is not the person. It is to say that her life would be better without that disability. And saying it assumes that a person with a life and a history here in the world, with family and friends, is not the same as a minuscule collection of defective cells on a petri dish. One is dispensable, the other most certainly is not.

What a piece of work is a man and partly, now, it is the work of godlike humankind.

The Nature of the Holy Grail
by Sol Aris

Some time ago I became involved in some research which can be loosely termed “the Quest for the Holy Grail”. For a long time I put off seriously considering what the Grail really is, because the short answer to that is that I’m still not really sure. So I knocked together this little monogram with the various most commonly encountered possibilities, from which we can choose what we like best.

Before proceeding, we should remember that the search for the Grail has often been viewed as being strictly symbolic for our general Thirst for Enlightenment. We have always sought a better understanding of the forces that control us, and many have said that the Grail is not an artifact at all, but only symbolizes the knowledge we can attain. That explanation definitely fits in my case, because while researching this material I’ve already learned more than I even thought possible. And yet I feel there’s more to it than mere symbolism.

1. The Holy Grail has traditionally been held by the public to be the cup from which Jesus shared the wine with his disciples during the Last Supper. And later Joseph of Arimathea used the same vessel to catch the blood of Jesus from the cross. This view got wide acclaim twenty years ago in the movie “Raiders of the Lost Ark, part III”, where this old cup of Jesus is found at the end by Indiana Jones in the ancient cave city of Petra in southern Jordan.

But serious researchers of the Grail have known since earliest times that the Grail is no simple cup, or in fact probably not any single artifact at all. In the past it was convenient for Alchemists and scholars of the Hidden Arts to have everyone believe that the Grail was merely a holy relic, the Cup which Jesus used. At the same time, they were looking for the “real Grail”, which they knew to be something else entirely.

The fact that today anyone can easily find out about the Grail not being a mere drinking cup, is just another indication that we live in a time when all the ancient secrets are being revealed. What Medieval Alchemists had to spend their whole lives studying is now available at the push of a button, if one looks for the right keywords.

Some early myths, like the medieval epic about Percival/Parsifal, link the Grail with other Christian relics, such as the Spear of Longinus, with which the Roman soldier reportedly pierced Jesus during the crucifixion, as well as various “pieces of the True Cross”, and items like the Shroud of Turin. The prevalence of tales about such relics is understandable during the time of the Crusades, when many people where bringing home artifacts from the Holy Land.

Possessing special Holy Relics would obviously lend importance and an image of power to their owners. But the Grail which the Knights Templar found seems to have done more than just lend them prestige in name. Nine poor knights sworn to poverty and owning only one change of clothes each, dug for a couple of decades under the remains of Solomon’s Temple. They found “something” and brought it to Europe, and subsequently became for two centuries one of the most powerful organizations Medieval Europe knew, their wealth and influence rivaling that of the Vatican itself. What had they found that suddenly changed them so? Probably no mere cup, or spear-tip, or piece of wood.

2.

According to Dan Brown’s “The Da Vinci Code” and the earlier works of Lincoln/Baigent/Lee and others on which it was based, the Grail is the Bloodline and Offspring of Jesus Christ, venerated in early Europe through the worship of Mary Magdalene who had arrived in Gaul with Jesus’ child. The Grail is a Chalice, which is a symbol for the womb of Mary and the Bloodline of Jesus the man, who was a descendant of King David according to the New Testament.

This legend holds that there was an actual Physical Grail connected with this as well, which was some sort of a treasure trove that the Knights Templar found under the Temple Mount in Jerusalem during the early Crusades, kept it in France until early 1300’s, and then hid it in the Roslyn Chapel in Scotland. These were “several caskets” containing documents which, according to those sources, provided an “unarguable proof” for Jesus having fathered children, who later became the Merovingian Kings. The actual bones of Mary Magdalene (who had died in France, but according to some accounts was later buried in Palestine) were added to this store, and comprised the lot taken to Roslyn.

I generally buy the arguments about the Merovingian bloodline of Jesus and Mary, but I don’t believe that this is the entirety of the Grail. Fully accepting this theory turns the Grail into a strictly Christian religious story, what would make it largely unimportant for most people alive today.

The majority of the world is not Christian, and even in the “Christian countries” most people would call themselves “secular” in this age. So although the theory of Jesus having direct descendants is very intriguing to play around with, it would not make such a big difference for most if such a descendant was proven to be alive today. In our technocratic society people simply no longer care about such things as much as they used to, and the revelation would not be nearly as shattering as the hype for the Da Vinci movie makes it out to be.

I feel it stands to reason therefore, that the Real Grail should be something much more bombastic than that, something that even in today’s world would make everyone take notice.

3.

Laurence Gardner takes the Merovingian Bloodline notion further, and contends that the “sacred chalice” of Mary Magdalene is a much later meaning ascribed to the Grail. Whereas the Original Grail was the actual “secret food of the Gods”, which he calls Star-Fire. He claims that the “bloodline of Jesus” is important not only because Jesus is considered the Messiah by some people, but because the earlier Davidic line was weaned on the Blood of the Annunaki, the actual menstrual blood of the Annunaki females, who were responsible for giving birth to the first human hybrids. It sounds gruesome, but allegedly this blood had certain qualities which can help improve current human DNA in many ways.

Although widely dismissed as a quack by serious writers on both sides of the academic spectrum, Gardner’s “Star Fire” series is a most fascinating read, and he accepts many of Sitchin’s ideas about the Annunaki as fact (http://www.nexusmagazine.com/articles/starfire1.html ).

Philip Gardiner and Gary Osborn, who disagree with most of Gardner’s findings, have produced another compelling and well-researched theory, according to which the ancient mages perpetuated their knowledge through secret brotherhoods, whose symbols consistently appear as snake-related imagery in the folklore and art of many cultures. The two researchers postulate that medicine and healing formed an important part of that tradition, and that the Grail is seen as primarily a system of potions which these people used to perpetuate their life, health and genes. (http://www.phil.fah-designs.com/serpentgrail/index2.html ).

Whatever ingredients formed this ancient Elixir of Life, the “Holy Grail” we’re looking for today may well contain the exact chemical formula for duplicating it. The Grail as the bearer of the original Annunaki (or “Shining Ones”, as Gardiner and Osborn call them) blood or chemistry is an altogether more universal idea and thus seems more fitting for this Great Quest, but there’s still more.

4.

Graham Hancock has put forward a very strong case that the Holy Grail of Templars’ is actually the old Ark of the Covenant, which the Hebrews made in the desert during the Exodus, and which was kept in Solomon’s Temple in Jerusalem up to a certain time (http://www.grahamhancock.com/library/sats/default.htm).

The history of the search for the Ark is long and convoluted, and is eloquently summarized in many books, so I won’t go into it. Hancock and other authors trace the Ark’s path from the Jerusalem temple through Elephantine Island on the Nile in Egypt to Axum in Ethiopia, or to places like Rennes de Chateau in France and Roslyn, Scotland.

(By the way, if anyone’s interested, there’s an absolutely amazing story these days about one Ron Wyatt who found the Ark a few years ago, buried in Jeremiah’s Grotto near the Old City of Jerusalem. I don’t know quite what to make of it, the documentation is too extensive for it to be a complete fake. This is the same guy who found Noah’s Ark on Mount Ararat earlier.)

I myself buy into Sitchin’s (and Gardner’s) idea that the Original Ark was a communication device between humans and Annunaki. The wandering Hebrews did not have a permanent Ziggurat Temple such as in Egypt or Babylon, where their God (in fact an “Annunaki” or space-traveler) would ordinarily reside in the city. Instead they were given the plans to build a “mobile communicator”, which they could use to call their God from anywhere.

The original Ark is described as giving off some sort of a dangerous radiation, whether familiar to our science today or not, but definitely harmful for people who were not properly protected. The book of Exodus lists an extensive garb which special people had to wear before approaching the Ark. There’s even a story of Aaron’s own sons who were not properly attired near the ark, then got ill and died as a result.

The Grail as the Ark of the Covenant is a much more likely theory, because the Ark would surely be a powerful “magical” device, which could’ve been somehow responsible for the sudden rise to power of the Knights Templar in Europe. If it were a radioactive machine of some sort, a product of an advance science, it could surely command respect from the average Medieval European.

And yet the Ark of the Covenant is also a relatively “new” thing in the Middle East, because it was made only during the Exodus, which took place around 1300-1500 BC, depending on which theory you follow. ;;At that time the civilizations of Sumer and Egypt had already amassed all their Great Secrets, which we’re trying to uncover today.

The early Hebrews themselves were heirs to that ancient legacy of Arcane Knowledge. In those days, the Ark had significance only for them, and if found today it would be meaningful only to a relatively small number of Jewish and Christian Fundamentalist believers, and archeologists. Whereas once again, I would like to see the “Holy Grail” having a more universal value for all of humanity and not for a select clique, even a large one.

5.

It seems to me that the Real Grail would have to be something of entirely mind-shattering proportions. It should be the ultimate legacy for Mankind in these Latter Days.

It is this: an unarguable proof that God the Creator of the Universe is not the same God who is the Creator of Man.
See, God the Creator of the Universe is not the kindly grey-haired man with the flowing beard from Michelangelo’s paintings. Instead, “It” is a Formless Void, the Endless Tao, Vonnegut’s “Universal Will To Become”, or whatever name of such nature that you happen to like. It’s not a being at all, it has no shape, and nobody you can call by a personal name.

Whereas “God the Creator of Mankind” were beings that the Sumerians had called “Annunaki” and the ancient Egyptians “Neter” – travelers from other stars who came to Earth to mine some minerals, and needed some efficient and low-paid workers for this. For this purpose, they “created” the species Homo Sapiens, us, by splicing their genes onto an advanced species of ape already extant on Earth at that time, and known to us today as “Homo Erectus”, the pre-man.

This process, as well as the subsequent teaching of “civilization” to the thusly evolved primitives, was carried out by one of the Annunaki named Enki. His early symbol was the intertwined snakes, which symbolized the double-helix structure of our DNA, comprised of one “human” and one “Annunaki” strand. This symbol later came to be known as the Caduceus, the staff of Enki in his new guise as Hermes.

Before becoming Hermes, Enki was known as Thoth in ancient Egypt (I actually like to spell it ’Toth’, as it’s easier to pronounce), and he wrote down all of his knowledge in a series of “instruction manuals”, which the mysteries say are buried in the caverns under the Sphinx on the Giza Plateau. This body of work has been referred to by some as “the Emerald Tablets of Toth”, but it has other names.

I feel that “the Grail” which the Templars found is nothing short of some of those manuals, which were previously in the possession of King Solomon, who hid them under the Temple. The manuals would contain all the scientific knowledge available to a star-faring race, and would probably go far beyond what we know today, to say nothing of the science known in Solomon’s day or in Medieval Europe.

If these “manuals” were written in a way for a layman to understand, the possession of such knowledge could give anyone power beyond our imagination, and that’s exactly what the Knights Templar got. It’s also what King Solomon had, and hence all the stories about his control over “Genies” and other “principalities”. It was merely scientific control over certain forces of nature, which he attained by following the instructions in the manuals.

So, the bottom line: I’ve come to believe that the “Holy Grail” is a series of instruction books, written by Toth/Enki/Hermes himself. They are written in such a manner or on such a media, so’s to leave no doubt as to their extraterrestrial origin. Therefore, their find would also be proof of “alien contact”.

Snakes and Ladders

An Interview with Philip Gardiner

Many of us have heard of the ancient tales of King Arthur and the Holy Grail. From the chalice believed to have been used at the Last Supper, to the cup said to have caught Christ’s blood at the Crucifiction; there are many theories and interpretations as to what the Grail consisted of, or if it even existed in the physical realm at all. In his new book, ‘The Serpent Grail’, Author Philip Gardiner asks these very important questions, and seeks to reach the heart of the matter concerning what the Grail Quest actually represents. Not only does he find that the traditions and folklore of the grail myth transcend past the medieval time period of which it is largely associated, but he discovered that a time spanning serpent-cult might very well be responsible for the development of these tales in order to guard the greatest secrets of mankind. I recently had the opportunity to speak with Philip Gardiner concerning some of the topics of his latest work.

It’s very strange: Philip Gardiner is of no relation to Laurence Gardner? Yet he advertises Laurence Gardner’s products on his website? Philip Gardiner’s whole schtick is supposedly going against the “bloodline” argument for the Holy Grail and instead promoting brain consciousness integration with the cerebellum. That’s cool but then he’s advertising Laurence Gardner’s “white gold” powder to help achieve this alchemy while at the same time writing on and promoting “snake powder” as a psychoactive alchemical tincture.

Otherwise there’s really not much info here except that Philip Gardiner is also promoting and is part of the Communist Party — see his “Shining Ones” website for his book and goto the “gnosis” link.

This whole “starfire” extract as the Holy Grail is really weird — Laurence Gardner’s Nexus article from 1998.

He’s arguing that there was an Alien Lunar Goddess Menstrual Blood that had special Hormonal Powers to open up the Third Eye.

Well there’s a lot of truth to this but it’s not some “alien” E.T. bloodline shit.

Read Professor David Gordon White’s new book “Kiss of the Yogini” (2003) and it’s all about Sacred Sex in the old West Asian City-States.

Indeed the King had to be Initiated by a Sacred Goddess Tantrik but the secret of this ritual was drinking the Clitoris Sex Fluids (of course if she was menstruating then it would be blood as well but that is not even mentioned as far as I can remember).

Ten Years After Dolly, No Human Clones, But a Barnyard of Copies

The article was just one of hundreds of news reports on the world’s first cloned mammal, Dolly the sheep.

Born July 5, 1996, at the Roslin Institute in Scotland, Dolly was the genetic copy of a six-year-old Finn Dorset ewe. Because of a patent application on the cloning process, her birth was kept a secret until February 27, 1997.

Researchers, religious leaders, and politicians immediately began debating the ethical implications of cloning mammals.

Specifically, the announcement of a cloned sheep sparked concern that human clones wouldn’t be far behind.

The U.S. and British governments both called for reports on the implications of the achievement, while the Vatican urged a worldwide ban on human cloning.

A decade later human clones seem no closer to reality, but scientists have created copies of a barnyard’s worth of animals.

In all, 15 wild and domestic species have been copied, including African wildcats, goats, Asian oxen, deer, and even an Afghan hound (photos: world’s first cloned dog).

Cloned Dinner?

“It’s really astonishing,” said Irina Polejaeva, referring to the number of species cloned within the last decade.

Polejaeva is the chief scientific officer for Austin, Texas-based ViaGen—one of several U.S. companies offering commercial cloning services.

Artificial Blood Experiment Hits 27 U.S. Cities

July 07, 2006 10:10 AM

Brian Ross and Joseph Rhee Report:

In 27 cities across the United States, seriously injured accident victims could end up in a medical experiment, without their knowledge or consent.

The experiment involves an artificial blood called Polyheme.

The federal government has given the company that makes it approval to use badly bleeding accident victims as test subjects, without the subjects informed consent.

The only way out is to wear a blue bracelet provided by the company.

The company says it’s the only way to test such a product.

But others, including Pastor Paul Burleson of a Denver church alliance, say it turns Americans into human guinea pigs.

“If I’m in accident and I just don’t happen to have this particular wristband, that I’d be a guinea pig is unconscionable,” he said.

There are 2 types of blood found in humans. Copper-based (blue-bloods), and Iron based….People with copper based blood are the ones most likely to have the disease Porphria…(purple rain*),
or light sensitivity also…

This is found almost exclusively in the royal bloodlines. Also in some Merovee,Merovignian bloodlines.

Type O Negative is the universal donor. It cannot however be cloned, or copied.

About 5 years ago, when the press started running stories about artificial blood because the blood banks were low, there were alot of articles about how you could substitute horseshoe crab blood because it was a universal donor and had natural immunities.

Then there was a batch of press about how it was a good flu vaccine because of these immunities.

“two protein molecules found in the blood of horseshoe crab – and in their distant cousins, human beings – play key roles in the battle animals across the taxonomic board wage against invading microbes. These are not antibodies. Antibodies are an invention of the vertebrate lineage,” Armstrong says.

BUT the problem with the idea, is that horseshow crabs don’t have iron for oxygen, they use copper as the carrier. So they’re “Blue Bloods”. And the copper quickly overtakes the iron in the blood?

It leaves me with a funny feeling? If you recieve this copper blood does it turn you into a copper based organism?

“According to Gould, only two artificial blood products — PolyHeme and Hemopure, by Massachusetts-based Biopure — are in the final phases of research. Hemopure, used in surgeries, is made from COW BLOOD, while PolyHeme is derived from hemoglobin, a protein found in red blood cells. Hemoglobin lasts much longer than blood and is a one-size-fits-all solution because it DOESN’T INCLUDE THE ANTIGENS FOUND ON RED BLOOD CELLS that can set off the immune system’s defenses against foreign blood types.”

Hmmmm, is that the oxygen carrier from the crabs? Hemo just means blood not iron based blood.

Stewart Swerdlow used to carry info about this on his site, but I don’t have a subscription. Did the Casseopeans talk about Horseshoe crabs? Thanks for the post- H2OTLC

Sorry chaps, but you are shortly to be written out of the reproductive script.

Her name was Frances Swiney, a feminist whose vision for the sisterhood and humanity was more than a trifle extreme.

She thought men were the waste products of the reproductive process and wanted them eliminated. Her ideal method was asexual reproduction – the creation of children without a man involved.

That way, she thought, women could look forward to the “gradual extinction of the distinctive male organism and the assimilation of the male to the female”.

Until now, people like Mrs Swiney, who lived in the 19th century, were considered to be several apples short of a picnic. But now her vision of a female-only world is all but with us.

Sorry to tell you, men, but you are shortly to be declared redundant, superfluous to the requirements of the human race, written out of the reproductive script. Cheerio and please close the door behind you on your way out of history.

At least this is the prospect laid out before us by the latest lurch into the brave new world of medical research.

In the attempt to find a cure for male infertility, a Newcastle University biologist, Karim Nayernia, has succeeded in using artificially produced sperm to fertilise mouse eggs.

He removed stem cells from mouse embryos and coaxed them into developing into sperm, which was used to fertilise eggs transplanted into female mice, resulting in the birth of seven baby rodents.

Blighted

Professor Nayernia believes his work offers hope to men whose lives are blighted by their inability to father children.

However, the rest of us might wonder whether he is sounding the death knell for fatherhood altogether – and, more to the point, threatening to undermine the very basis of what it is to be human.

The success of these experiments opens up a number of possibilities. One is to extract stem cells from an infertile man and use these to grow sperm in a laboratory. These could then be transplanted back into the man’s testicles, enabling him to procreate in the normal way.

That at least – despite the awesome safety issues to be overcome – would retain the man’s genetic connection with any child he produced, as well as allowing him to father that baby through a normal sexual union.

But other possibilities are far more problematic. It would become possible, for example, to use stem cells not from the infertile man at all, but from embryos which are routinely produced in IVF clinics, but are then discarded as surplus to requirements.

This would mean there would be no genetic connection whatever between ‘father’ and child.

Moreover, such a process could mean the eggs being fertilised might not even come from the mother of the child being produced. Instead, spare eggs donated by another woman could be fertilised by the artificial sperm.

As a result, there might be no genetic connection with either parent. This could mean courtship and sexual love would be replaced by the mating dance of test tubes.

How would a child feel about the fact that one or both of his parents was merely a cluster of randomly selected cells grown artificially in a laboratory? How would he feel, indeed, to know that his parent was a discarded human embryo?

The truth is that having a mother and father is essential to our sense of identity. That’s why family disintegration is so harmful to children and why the stampede to produce and bring up children without a biological father around – through artificial insemination by donor, IVF or sperm banks – spells disaster for the future.

Test-tube mating could deliver a terminal blow to the pulverised nuclear family.

True, we have already under-mined sexual reproduction and genetic transmission through IVF. But at least the mother in such cases has a powerful biological connection to the baby.

Fatherhood, however, is altogether trickier. Since human babies take years to become independent, they need prolonged care. It is difficult to furnish this while simultaneously providing subsistence and protection.

That’s why the human male is essential, to protect and nurture the mother and child. But the male needs a certain amount of cultural coaxing to stick around. And essential to that bargain between the sexes is his certainty that he is the father of the child.

Fragile

While there is no such question mark over motherhood because women bear the baby, fathering, by contrast, is a socially constructed institution.

Men have a fragile sense of their role in the human drama. At some deep level, they dread that they are merely an add-on to a female genetic inheritance.

As we can see from the epidemic of fatherlessness, it doesn’t take much for them to say ‘I’m off!’ if they feel pushed away.

And pushed away they have certainly been. No one bats an eyelid when a woman has a baby without a father on board.

Male breadwinning is regarded as an unforgiveable anachronism. Masculine characteristics such as stoicism or emotional restraint are scorned or vilified. And now, men find that their active involvement in the reproductive process might be by-passed altogether.

Currently, it is against British law to create a baby without the need for a man – even if a child can be brought up without one.

But considering how all our taboos are being systematically smashed in the interests of fulfilling every desire, can anyone doubt that, if the technological problems can be overcome, medical ethics and the law will be adjusted to suit?

Clearly, these developments have the potential to undermine parenthood and our very understanding of kinship and human identity itself.

As so often, the aims are noble – to remedy the suffering of childlessness. But medical research, which invariably takes the amoral view that the end justifies the means, brushes aside the fact that the damage such advances may do to our society might hugely outweigh any benefits they may bring.

Brutalise

Already, the use of discarded embryos has helped brutalise our society by commodifying and cannibalising early human life.

And most outlandishly of all, some even claim it is theoretically possible to produce sperm from female cells and eggs from male ones.

This seems frankly absurd. There is no form of higher animal life that has not depended on sexual reproduction. But now that scientists are modern gods, who knows what unnatural developments might become possible?

Such a world, where procreation was through asexual reproduction, was the vision of those early feminists, such as Mrs Swiney.

But in their book The Ethics Of Human Cloning, the American thinkers James Q. Wilson and Leon Kass wrote: “Only sexual animals can seek and find complementary others with whom to pursue a goal that transcends their own existence.”

In other words, sexual reproduction produces the sense of generosity and concern for others on which our human society is built.

The authors also observed that asexual reproduction was found only in the lowest forms of life: bacteria, algae, fungi and some lower invertebrates.

Would it not be an irony if, through their egregious hubris, the effect of the most brilliant scientific minds in the most advanced age known to mankind was to reduce the human race to the status of primordial slime?

Paper details failed human cloning attempts

Scientist contends he tried five times in a foreign lab

By Gareth Cook, Globe Staff | July 21, 2006

The questions is have they had succesful cloning attempts?

The first-ever scientific paper detailing an attempt to create a cloned child was published yesterday, raising concerns that the author may eventually succeed in an effort most researchers believe is ethically troubling and dangerous.

``It is scary,” said Dr. Robert Lanza , vice president for research at Advanced Cell Technology in Worcester. ``It tells you that he is an amateur playing in this field, but on the other hand he has a knowledge base that you can’t dismiss.”

Zavos first announced he had done the experiment in 2004, sparking controversy because of ethical objections and because virtually all scientists believe that the technology would place a cloned child at risk for serious medical problems.

Scientists said that the new paper, published in a journal called the Archives of Andrology, makes it clear that the cloned embryo Zavos claims to have created consisted of only four cells — not enough to prove the cloning had been successful. However, Zavos said yesterday that he has since seen more progress and has made a total of five attempts, all ultimately unsuccessful, and all in a foreign country he declined to identify.

The announcement will probably bring more criticism of cloning, in a week when the future of stem cell research is being hotly debated in Congress and elsewhere. President Bush earlier this week exercised the first veto of his presidency, blocking a bill that would have expanded research using human embryonic stem cells. Scientists hope to use what is called therapeutic cloning to create embryonic stem cells that have the DNA of patients who suffer from diseases. This would give them a new way to study diseases, and perhaps find cures, but this has proved difficult and nobody had yet succeeded in doing it.

Zavos contends that he used the same technology as these stem cell researchers, but then placed the cloned embryo into a woman in an attempt to create a child. The Rev. Tadeusz Pacholczyk , a critic of embryonic stem cell research, said that the paper points to the danger of allowing therapeutic cloning when reproductive cloning uses the same technology.

``The idea that we can just have therapeutic cloning is perhaps a bit naïve,” said Pacholczyk , director of education at the National Catholic Bioethics Center in Philadelphia.

Zavos said he tried to create a cloned embryo for a couple, a 35-year-old woman and 32-year-old man of ``Middle Eastern descent,” but he did not say where they live . The embryo used the DNA of the father, according to the paper

Maverick medic reveals details of baby cloning experiment

A maverick fertility expert has revealed hard evidence of a controversial attempt to produce the world’s first cloned human baby.
Panos Zavos, a reproductive scientist, created a storm in 2004 when he called a press conference in London to announce he had cloned a human embryo from the skin cells of an infertile man and transferred it to the uterus of the man’s wife. He later said the transfer had failed and the woman did not become pregnant, but many scientists doubted whether he had performed the experiment at all.

Most cloning and fertility experts say such a move to create a clone baby would be unethical and dangerous for mother and child – few female animals implanted with cloned embryos carry them to term or give birth to healthy offspring. The idea could not be taken seriously, they said, until Dr Zavos, who is based at the University of Kentucky and runs a private fertility clinic in Cyprus, published his results and methods in a scientific journal.
Details have now appeared in this month’s issue of the Archives of Andrology – effectively placing the experiments on the scientific record, albeit in a little-known specialist journal.

In the paper, Dr Zavos and his colleague Karl Illmensee described how they copied the technique used by UK scientists to make Dolly the sheep – known as somatic cell nuclear transfer (SCNT). They said they took DNA from the man’s skin cells and fused it inside three eggs taken from the woman’s ovaries, which were given a burst of electricity to encourage them to develop as embryos.

After three days, the paper said, one of the embryos had reached the four-cell stage and “was subsequently transferred into the patient’s uterus”. Two weeks later, blood tests showed the 35-year-old woman was not pregnant.

The paper said: “This is the first evidence of the creation and transfer of a cloned human embryo for reproductive purposes. Even though no pregnancy was established, human reproduction via SCNT may be possible and applicable in the future.” The paper did not say where the pair performed the experiments, which would be illegal in the UK.

Dr Zavos told the Guardian yesterday that he submitted the paper a year ago and had subsequently transferred cloned human embryos to another five women, including a 52-year-old Briton earlier this year. None had resulted in pregnancies.

He confirmed that each was an attempt to produce a cloned baby and said he accepted the risks involved.

“People are right to have concerns, we have those concerns ourselves. Our team is prepared to subject any pregnancy to a very strict scrutiny and make sure they are taken securely and safely to completion.”

Richard Gardner, a cloning expert at Oxford University and chairman of the Royal Society’s working group on stem cell research, said: “We wanted Zavos to publish his findings and now he has, but a four-cell embryo is very early stage and doesn’t tell you anything about whether it would be able to develop further.”

According to the paper, the couple involved in the research did not want the scientists to run invasive tests on the embryo to see whether it was healthy because of their religious beliefs. Dr Zavos said the subsequent transferred embryos were more advanced, up to 10-12 cells each.

Professor Gardner supported calls for a worldwide ban on reproductive cloning because he said the technology was currently unproven, but said the technique could possibly be used in future to treat infertility in rare cases where the man produces no sperm.

“It’s always difficult to make the decision about when you should be able to transfer animal work into humans.”

In a separate paper published in the journal Fertility and Sterility in April, Dr Zavos’ group described experiments that created dozens of hybrid embryos made by fusing human DNA inside cow eggs. These embryos were not intended to be transferred to women, but to help improve the cloning process.

Scientists Say They’ve Found a Code Beyond Genetics in DNA

Researchers believe they have found a second code in DNA in addition to the genetic code.

Loren Williams/Chemistry and Biochemistry, Georgia Institute of Technology In a living cell, the DNA double helix wraps around a nucleosome, above center, and binds to some of its proteins, known as histones. The genetic code specifies all the proteins that a cell makes. The second code, superimposed on the first, sets the placement of the nucleosomes, miniature protein spools around which the DNA is looped. The spools both protect and control access to the DNA itself.

The discovery, if confirmed, could open new insights into the higher order control of the genes, like the critical but still mysterious process by which each type of human cell is allowed to activate the genes it needs but cannot access the genes used by other types of cell.

The new code is described in the current issue of Nature by Eran Segal of the Weizmann Institute in Israel and Jonathan Widom of Northwestern University in Illinois and their colleagues.

There are about 30 million nucleosomes in each human cell. So many are needed because the DNA strand wraps around each one only 1.65 times, in a twist containing 147 of its units, and the DNA molecule in a single chromosome can be up to 225 million units in length.

Biologists have suspected for years that some positions on the DNA, notably those where it bends most easily, might be more favorable for nucleosomes than others, but no overall pattern was apparent. Drs. Segal and Widom analyzed the sequence at some 200 sites in the yeast genome where nucleosomes are known to bind, and discovered that there is indeed a hidden pattern.

Knowing the pattern, they were able to predict the placement of about 50 percent of the nucleosomes in other organisms.

The pattern is a combination of sequences that makes it easier for the DNA to bend itself and wrap tightly around a nucleosome. But the pattern requires only some of the sequences to be present in each nucleosome binding site, so it is not obvious. The looseness of its requirements is presumably the reason it does not conflict with the genetic code, which also has a little bit of redundancy or wiggle room built into it.

Having the sequence of units in DNA determine the placement of nucleosomes would explain a puzzling feature of transcription factors, the proteins that activate genes. The transcription factors recognize short sequences of DNA, about six to eight units in length, which lie just in front of the gene to be transcribed.

But these short sequences occur so often in the DNA that the transcription factors, it seemed, must often bind to the wrong ones. Dr. Segal, a computational biologist, believes that the wrong sites are in fact inaccessible because they lie in the part of the DNA wrapped around a nucleosome. The transcription factors can only see sites in the naked DNA that lies between two nucleosomes.

The nucleosomes frequently move around, letting the DNA float free when a gene has to be transcribed. Given this constant flux, Dr. Segal said he was surprised they could predict as many as half of the preferred nucleosome positions. But having broken the code, “We think that for the first time we have a real quantitative handle” on exploring how the nucleosomes and other proteins interact to control the DNA, he said.

The other 50 percent of the positions may be determined by competition between the nucleosomes and other proteins, Dr. Segal suggested.

Several experts said the new result was plausible because it generalized the longstanding idea that DNA is more bendable at certain sequences, which should therefore favor nucleosome positioning.

“I think it’s really interesting,” said Bradley Bernstein, a biologist at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Jerry Workman of the Stowers Institute in Kansas City said the detection of the nucleosome code was “a profound insight if true,” because it would explain many aspects of how the DNA is controlled.

The nucleosome is made up of proteins known as histones, which are among the most highly conserved in evolution, meaning that they change very little from one species to another. A histone of peas and cows differs in just 2 of its 102 amino acid units. The conservation is usually attributed to the precise fit required between the histones and the DNA wound around them. But another reason, Dr. Segal suggested, could be that any change would interfere with the nucleosomes’ ability to find their assigned positions on the DNA.

In the genetic code, sets of three DNA units specify various kinds of amino acid, the units of proteins. A curious feature of the code is that it is redundant, meaning that a given amino acid can be defined by any of several different triplets. Biologists have long speculated that the redundancy may have been designed so as to coexist with some other kind of code, and this, Dr. Segal said, could be the nucleosome code.

DNA TESTING, BANKING, GENETIC PRIVACY

“Who am I?” has always been a fundamental philosophical question that may require decades of reflection to answer. With the advent of DNA analysis, there is a growing public impression that the answer may be found in our genes. Various Internet sites offer descriptions of our ancestral history on the basis of our DNA, as well as testing for specific “disease genes” or general profiles that are used to recommend lifestyle changes, such as foods to be eaten or avoided. Researchers have even suggested that although the scientific evidence is speculative and at best probabilistic, many people will want to have their DNA analyzed for markers of predispositions toward certain behaviors, including risk taking, overeating, aggression, and even criminality.

As these opportunities to learn about our DNA expand and affect the way we construct our personal identities, we should be alert to the risks as well as the benefits of exploring our DNA and basing an understanding of who we are on genetic testing. We should be wary of perceptions of ourselves — whether our own or others’ — that are based on results of tests that have not been validated or on misinterpretations of valid tests. We should be at least as concerned that others may know more than we do about our own genetic makeup. DNA analysis, in combination with the Internet, creates an unregulated market in DNA and new opportunities for invasions of genetic privacy.

Using the Internet for the marketing and purchasing of genetic tests sidesteps the doctor–patient relationship and eliminates meaningful, face-to-face genetic counseling. It also magnifies an older but unresolved danger: whenever identifiable DNA samples are collected and stored, there is a high risk that violations of genetic privacy will follow. As the evolution of DNA banking for research demonstrates, DNA donors shouldn’t assume that the privacy protections they take for granted in medical care and clinical research apply. People give up more than they realize when they hand over their DNA.

Pope to inspect image of Christ on veil

A small piece of cloth bearing an eerily detailed image of a bearded man with a bruised face is to be the subject of a papal pilgrimage next week.

Pope Benedict XVI will journey to a remote monastery in the Abruzzo region east of Rome next Friday to visit the mysterious icon, said to show the face of Christ.

More here…

Known by locals as Veronica’s Veil, the cloth, measuring 9 1/2 in by 6 1/2 in, is said to have been used by St Veronica to wipe Jesus’s brow on his walk to the cross. It later assumed Jesus’s image, showing a man, eyes open, with a beard and a moustache.

The history of the icon is sketchy. Nothing is known of its whereabouts after Christ’s crucifixion, but it is said to have been taken to Rome in 1297. Locals in the remote town of Manoppello in Abruzzo maintain the icon was brought to them 500 years ago by a wandering pilgrim.

Monastery

It now resides in the town’s monastery, where it is stretched between two panes of glass in a golden frame. The image clearly shows the face of a Christ-like figure. When held up against daylight, however, the image on the veil disappears.

In recent months, Veronica’s Veil has been the subject of an influx of tourists from Rome, keen to see what they view as a ‘holy relic’. The Vatican has stressed, however, that the Pope’s visit does not mean he is officially endorsing the veil.

In 1999, scientists from Bari University in southern Italy reported that the image had not been painted or embossed on the veil in any way that could be explained.

REVELATION 2012: THE WORD OF GOD IS DNA

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” (John 1:1, KJV)

by John Jay Harper (www.johnjayharper.com)

Former U.S. Marine and author Edward Arnold asks in 2012: Year of the Apocalypse, “After 2012, will the people of the world be ready to rely … on themselves … be ready to understand that the ‘power of god’ is within one’s own self?” By all indications, we are walking a slippery slope, teetering on the edge of the abyss right now. There are more than enough doom and gloom forecasts. Yet is that because we give our self-will power away to prophets, priests, physicians, and politicians? Of course it is, but why is it that some of us don’t do that? It is because we woke-up in this nightmare called history and remembered that we are co-creators, the self-reflecting mirror-images of God. This self-realization of our self-responsibility for the world we see today is in fact the focus of psychotherapist Paul Levy’s controversial new book The Madness of George W. Bush: A Reflection of Our Collective Psychosis.

For the larger truth is what we resist, persist. That if we refuse to look within ourselves individually and collectively to at least find the “lesser of two evils” when seeking solutions to problems, then we won’t see that these decisions are fed back to us as our perceived “reality.” Or, in blunt terms, our psychology ultimately becomes our biology. What goes around comes around, too, although most of us “drama queens” create these “Reality-TV” soap operas without so much as a clue that this feedback loop was to be a lesson-learned, a wake-up call to our role in co-creation, not a coincidence. Usually when things go wrong we don’t turn inwards, we lash out at the world around us.

We play the blame game, and project onto “enemies” our own shortcomings in the dysfunctional, lopsided relationships. Overall, honestly, we don’t seek peace, do we yet? We seek “homeland security” at all costs. No doubt this is a dangerous strategy if you are the Commander-in-Chief of military forces employing gunboat diplomacy with nuclear-tipped pens as the entire planet can be destroyed in an outburst of “road less-traveled rage.” A collective mushroom cloud temper tantrum and Tilt: Game Over. Is this what awaits our species in era-2012?

It is certainly one scenario, but my own visions of 2012 are more in line with those of John Major Jenkins in Maya Cosmogenesis 2012 and Daniel Pinchbeck in 2012: The Return of Quetzacoatl. That is to say, our future world order reflects an optimistic outcome if we wake up in time and deal with the chaos we have co-created within our environment. The destruction of natural resources via technology is finally coming back full-circle to bite us in the left-brain! My own hopefulness therefore is centered upon what such enlightened “egghead” peers of mine as cellular biologist Bruce H. Lipton reveals in The Biology of Belief, and aerospace software engineer Gregg Braden in The God Code: We are all living cells within the Mind of God. Also, Gary E. Schwartz’s latest insights titled The G.O.D. Experiments: How Science is Discovering God in Everything, Including Us is clearly a reason for celebration. He is the director of the Laboratory for Advances in Consciousness and Health at the University of Arizona, and a Harvard graduate after all.

In the words of distinguished Cambridge-educated bible scholar Godfrey Higgins (1771-1834), “Almost all the latter part of my life has been spent unlearning the nonsense I learned in my youth.” Thus, one has to believe that there are more “corrections” to the treatise On the Origins of Species (1859) to follow soon as well. Especially so upon even a cursory review of this masterpiece by Michael Cremo, Human Devolution: A Vedic Alternative to Darwin’s Theory. Not only does this 554-page text reveal the connection to spiritualism by co-founder of the evolution hypothesis, Sir Alfred Russell Wallace, but it also speaks volumes as to how misinformed we all are about our origins. The greatest shock for me was to grasp how wrong it was for science and religion to exclude our direct connection to God as the starting point for creation. I mean we are not fallen creatures, we are heroes that volunteered for a bloody, nasty job!

God has taken us for a ride—not the other way around. We do not evolve; we revolve within a cycle that goes from consciousness to unconsciousness to consciousness. Time is circular in other words, not linear. It is as if we truly believed that the purpose of life is death rather then rebirth into higher realms of existence lifetime-after-lifetime. As a person who attended seminary myself at Brite Divinity School, Texas Christian University, in Ft. Worth, albeit so briefly I had barely unpacked my bags before I quit, I can certainly relate to this truth: We do seem to prefer the darkness over the light. But without hesitation, I can tell you that our history is not our destiny. The operative idea today is we must “unlearn the past,” if we want our green-future to unfold more naturally. Let the sunshine in and see a new day dawning within a pristine restored Garden of Eden. Open the Gateway to God within our DNA and behold the vision I see in 2012—and beyond.

Russia sees no alternative to new collective leader in world, Sergei Lavrov said

LISBON, September 18 (Itar-Tass) – Russia does not see a reasonable alternative to the creation of a new collective leader comprising key, highly industrialized countries in the world, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said in an article published in the Portuguese newspaper Diario de Noticias over his two-day visit in Lisbon that will begin on Monday.

According to the minister, these key countries should be “representative in terms of geography and civilisation.” “The Group of Eight (G8) may become an important aspect of an informal mechanism of a new collective leader,” Lavrov pointed out.

Russia is ready to make a contribution in the creation of a new universal system that will be safer and democratic based on the principles of law and multilateral cooperation, Sergei Lavrov said.

“Abandoning the ideology of the past in favour of common sense,” now Russia has “a broad and unbiased view on all issues,” the minister emphasized.

The Russian foreign minister stressed “the independence of Russia’s foreign policy.” He called it “the main achievement of the last few years” and “the unconditional imperative” everybody should take into account.

“We will cooperate with all partners without discrimination and only with the position of full equality considering interests of each other and mutual benefits,” Lavrov remarked.

As long as Russia’s confidence in its possibilities is growing, “our country turned in the most predictable factor of international policy,” the foreign minister noted. He pledged that “Russia will take balanced positions in the future, act as an important factor of world diplomacy.”

i’m a student currently and i have been doing my own research into these sorts of things. i read zechariah sitchin’s books and ever since then began questioning whether his books were fiction or non fiction and have come up with a bunch of different theories (other people’s not mine) and continue to study the relationship of religion to the history of mankind. I find this sort of thing very interesting – and i know that i’m posting a bit off topic – but i do want to be able to discuss these sort of topics with people who know more than i do and continue to learn as much as i can. i have done some minor researching into the crop circle phenomenon and my theory is that somehow everything that the pictures show correspond to something already known and is meant to communicate a larger picture to us. Whether or not the circles are caused by extraterrestrials or some other entity is not relevant to me – the relevance for me is figuring out the symbolism is. For example – there is one crop circle of a cannabis/hemp leaf with a sun on the left and another symbol close to a leaf on the right – it’s obvious as to what it is – but not so much as to what it is trying to communicate. again – i apologize if i’ve gone completely OT – but again these sort of questions fascinate me and it encourages me to constantly learn more. I’m glad to see that i’m not the only “nut” out there who finds these things interesting and tantalizingly fascinating to such an extent that research doesn’t even begin to answer questions but create more of them!
